Summary
The last thing Link remembered: he went to bed an ordinary 6-year-old in his family home in Castle Town.
He woke up a 6-year-old in a world 112 years older than him, where the Calamity had already hit and then recently been defeated... by himself? He didn't know what happened, or how, or why. Luckily, he had eight heroes with weird nicknames on his side, there to help him figure out and fix whatever was going on, one age at a time—and gradually heal his childhood wounds in the process.
Or: my take on the kid!Wild and Wild-meets-the-Chain tropes, with a bit of a twist in that he is mentally a child as well—memories included.

So of course time in Sky’s era was always welcomed.
Then Sky told them about this pub: the Lumpy Pumpkin. He eagerly told them about the drinks and above all else the wonderful pumpkin soup. Obviously the chain had to try it.
They deserved the rest.
Four was just tired of hearing the chain try and sing.

Summary
When Shadow shattered the Dark Mirror, he had expected to die. That had certainly happened. It was very painful and he would really like to not do it again.
What he hadn't expected was to wake up on the floor of a very creepy castle, be mistaken for a severed portion of Dark Link's reflection of the Hero's Spirit, and essentially be coerced into working for Ganondorf to attack the group of time-traveling heroes that Link had apparently, somehow, joined.
Shadow was only supposed to survive for long enough to figure out where the mirror that Ganondorf probably had his soul connected to was, and how to get back to Link. He wasn't supposed to get attached to Dark Link. He also wasn't supposed to start seeing a younger version of himself, from before Vio came crashing into his life, in him. He especially wasn't supposed to start trying to teach Dark how to live beyond the confines of the battle he had known for so long.
Or, Shadow adopts a new kid/brother, pulls a Vio (in more ways than just spying on the enemy from inside), and has way too much fun mentally cussing out Ganondorf.

Summary
A sleep-deprived Sky is a forgetful Sky. When the Master Sword accidentally ends up in the pile of gear waiting for repair, Four finds out what happens when they touch the holy blade.
It goes downhill from there.
A desperate decision leads to consequences for all of Four’s parts, and one of them has to figure out how to keep his siblings safe while undoing the mess that became of their relationship with the rest of the chain.

"Shadow doesn't look like anyone's reflection anymore. He no longer wore his hat, and his skin had lost its greyish pallor. He was tanned now, chasing after fairies, talking about antimicrobial compounds and livestock and future plans that Four would never envision for himself.
At one point, they had been twins, the same soul with a different shape. But they are no longer identical, or even mirror images. Four wonders what that makes them now."
Four never expects to see Shadow again, so he is understandably surprised when they bump into each other. Together, they heal old wounds, but the rest of the chain doesn't know what to make of Four's new companion.

Summary
Shadow had (mostly) made peace with his death. While it was a bit…disappointing, not being able to talk to Vio or the others anymore, he could live with it (ha) knowing that they were safe. All of this went out the window when Link followed a complete stranger through a portal that reeked of dark magic. Willingly, might he add!
Honestly, you’d think he’d know better than to do that without at least leaving a note for the princess or literally anyone before disappearing with a mysterious person who approached him in the middle of the woods.

Summary
Kakariko City is a bustling coastal city, home to entrepreneurs, CEOs, local tech companies, artists, and every sort of person you could imagine, including criminals. The local criminal underground houses a considerable sum of criminals, and gang activity is simply a day-to-day occurrence.
The most notorious of these gangs is a crew with nine known members called the Chain. The Chain is known by the public as the crew who consistently fails overly-elaborate heists on hilariously small targets. To the criminal underground, however, they are the most prominent enemy of the Yiga gang and the most dangerous crew on this side of Hyrule. Each member of the Chain is known to have their own unique set of skills, and when they choose to get along, those who get in their way know them to be an unstoppable force. Some even say they have connections to the mafia.
What many don’t know is where these infamous criminals came from, so settle down, and I will tell you the tale of how this crew came to be.

Shadow turned slowly, trying to keep half an eye on Dark. He didn't like the guy one bit. There was just something…off about him.
But when he turned around, all other thoughts left his mind. Because lit by a flickering brazier behind him, just like the others in the circle, was Link.
