Summary
Valeria was raised by the Watchers, raised to find entertainment in the lives and pain of others. She was raised to not have any attachments. On her first trial from the Watchers she breaks the one rule they have for her. She gets attached and she helps a man meant to die. With that rule broken Valeria dies, leaving behind Raphaella la Cognizi, a woman free to find a ship that she's heard of from the only friend she ever had as a Watcher.
Together Raphaella la Cognizi and Marius Von Raum go together to find the Aurora, a ship they're sure they can make into their home as long as they're together.

I wrote this for the 'Spirkaversary' mini event to celebrate the one year anniversary of the Spirk Events Discord Server.
The challenge was simply to produce any Spirk creation (fit, art, poem, filk) with the theme of "anniversary".
So I chose to write a poem from Spock's POV as he professes his love for Jim on their anniversary, but in his own special, logical, Vulcan way.
N.B. I have also added this poem to my Verses from the Void collection of works. Please forgive the duplication.

Summary
This fanfic is a legacy retelling of a story that we made for a Minecraft RP SMP, that never had the chance to see the light of day because of internal disputes. I took the liberty of twisting certain aspects that didn't originally make sense but the others insisted on having them that way, of playing loose with certain Minecraft mechanics that wouldn't work for the story, and of simplifying constraints of the game for storytelling purposes.
It is a story of a young enderman guy, who gets tossed around by his life, until he's tossed too far and lands in an unknown world full of unknown people coming from strange places. But when he settles down once again, and chooses to fight for his happiness for the first time in his life, he finds just how hard it is to be happy in a world without order.
