    For their tenth wedding anniversary, Legolas and Gimli have planned a long walking trip from Aglarond to Fangorn, hoping to follow the steps of their first journey together and spend the day of their anniversary in the forest where they were married. They are looking forward to a scenic journey through Rohan and lots of quality time, just the two of them – that is, until they encounter a party of travelers from the Westfold Valley walking in the same direction. When they realize that their new companions are inexperienced travelers and unprepared for the journey that awaits them, they cannot in good conscience leave them behind.

She expected the usual diplomatic friction. She did not expect mud-slinging (literal and otherwise), misplaced marriage rumors, or Éomer King glaring at her like a badly translated poem.
