Summary
Shadow had a few issues with his resurrection. He wasn’t complaining about being brought back just yet, as it’d only been a few weeks, but there were a lot of problems that he simply didn’t have to deal with when he was dead.
The first and most important problem was, of course, that he was without his brothers; in fact, he learned pretty soon after he wasn’t even in the right time period anymore, which was concerning. The second problem was that he had managed to catch the eye of whatever new villain his brothers were fighting and they had been the one to bring him back. Because he couldn’t have a nice resurrection, no, of course not. He had a debt to repay, apparently.
aka: Shadow is brought back by Dark Link. This leads to many problems, the least of which being Dark himself.
Or: three times Shadow pranks the Chain and blames it on someone else, and one time he sort-of owns up to it.

Summary
A group of heavily armed men, around 8 or 9, wandered around the clearing completing various chores. The sun was just dipping behind the horizon, and it seemed that they had just finished dinner. So these were the men who kidnapped his boyfriend. Shadow’s eyes narrowed.
Or, two weeks after Link's disappearance, Shadow finds him with a group of strange men in the woods. Obviously, these men had kidnapped Link, so Shadow tries to get him back. It goes about as well as you would expect.

His late-night customers were generally harmless people who were just looking for cheap beer in a quiet place. Typically, they kept to themselves.

dumb,stupid,shortsighted,ill-considered, when they put it like that, but it's the truth.They'd intended to be around the campfire, maybe, and finally give in to the nagging of their parts, or perhaps the incessant bickering in their head would spill over when they finally got fed up, or perhaps they would be dropped in a dungeon with only one or two of the others and be forced to reveal the truth to get out.
But they hadn't ever seriously considered that they may have to do so in the middle of a fight. -

Deep inside the depths of a dungeon, a monster crawls out from within the shadows. It's Hylian, yet not. A mirror of their smithy that lacked color and held traits that no Hylian could possess. Rather than fight, it drops to the floor like it had not an ounce of strength left in any bone in its body. While heaving for breath, it gives them a warning that the group has to decide how to take.
