"Dobe," Sasuke smirks but it's more of an endearment now. Naruto just wants to see his face one more time but these goddamned tears-

Sasuke... doesn't answer."I love you." It was a phrase unspoken and Naruto had wished that Sasuke would've said it for the first time after this five-going-six year war. He can feel the pull of the seal and I don't know what to do- helpmeSasuke.
He opens his mouth and Naruto wants to scream at him, yell and demand why? but he-

The seal fully activates, the runes shimmering across his limbs, weaving throughout his body and latching onto his soul, his chakra. No. Nonono. Naruto gets pulled fifteen years into the past.

Minato could not believe his luck. On one hand, it must be ridiculously good. After all, Senju Tsunade, the best doctor and iryō-nin in the world, just walked back through Konoha's gates. With her apprentice, the poison mistress, Katō Shizune. Stating that she was returning full time and taking charge of the medical corps and hospital. This is great! The chūnin exams are right around the corner and are being hosted in Konoha.
But on the other hand…
She returned with a third person. Teenager. Child. Pre-teen.
She’s 13-years-old.
Has Tsunade’s temper, her forehead, eye shape, and posture down to a ‘T’. Tsunade doesn’t need to tell him who she is. He watched the girl practice in the Senju compound and saw her grow a tree.
Senju Tsunade returned to Konoha after nearly decades and brought a never before seen or known daughter.
He doesn’t feel lucky anymore.

Tobirama took a deep breath, visibly collecting himself as he relaxed; when he finally looked up, there was the ghost of a smile lingering at the corners of his mouth.
“You’re delightful,” he said, voice still rough with laughter. His lips curved further into a crooked smile that made his facial tattoos flex.
“…Thank you?” Sakura managed, the words coming out more like a question than a statement. She could feel heat creeping up her neck, her cheeks, probably all the way to her hairline.
His low chuckle sent another wave of warmth through her, this one settling low in her belly as he shifted again, somehow even closer than before. The space between them had shrunk to almost nothing, and she could smell the faint scent of ink, clean linen, and fresh rain that clung to his skin.
“I suppose I’ll have to be clear,” he mused, voice low enough that she could hear the sounds of crickets over it.
“Clear about what?” she managed, trying desperately to sound composed when she could feel the warmth of his breath.
The garden air was cool, a sharp contrast to the heat crawling across her skin—worse still at every almost-contact, every breath of space between them.
“‘About what’, she says.” The words rumbled from deep in his chest. His hand came up, those long fingers that had been distracting her for months tracing the line of her cheekbone. “I should be annoyed, but instead—” his other hand settled on the cushion beside her hip, “—I find myself charmed.”
He was so big up close—tall and broad, all solid muscle as he leaned in, making her feel almost delicate (which was ridiculous given she could shatter mountains). Those strong arms bracketed her, his shoulders blocking out the garden beyond, until her world narrowed to just him—real and so close she could feel the heat radiating from his chest.
Tobirama’s eyes had darkened to burgundy in the lantern light.
She couldn’t quite believe this was happening.
Or figure out how they got here in the first place.
“I… that is…” Sakura swallowed, throat suddenly dry, and she was very aware of how close his thighs were to hers, how the slightest movement would bring them into contact. “You find me charming?”
“Very.” His thumb traced her bottom lip, the touch feather-light but sending cascading shudder of want through her entire body.
She could feel his breath against her skin. The hand by her hip shifted, fingers brushing against her hip through her shorts.
Then his mouth was on hers, firm and certain, and her world narrowed to the feeling of his hand cradling her face, the solid heat of him as he pulled her closer.

Summary
Toru leaves Konoha, leaving behind people who now have to find themselves living without him. This causes a few changes and, most importantly, results in Sasuke swearing an oath to bring Toru back.
Meanwhile, Toru finds himself amidst rubbles and ruins having finally answered Uzushio's call. With danger haunting his footsteps and enemies staring him down, Toru will have to draw on everything he has to survive and bring Uzushio back to its full glory. Nonetheless, with the knowledge that the sea never dies, it's difficult to imagine him failing.
However, outside of the lives of Sasuke and Toru, danger is growing and growing and it is nothing like the ninja world has ever seen before.
