Ranboo was just trying to buy a new sage plant. All he wanted was a new plant. That’s it. He didn’t mean to become the only living witness in the case of a serial killer. He especially didn’t mean to forget the entire event, making him a useless piece of evidence to the police, but a useful plaything for the killer to psychologically torture. But Ranboo knows too much and the second he recovers those memories, the killer’s in trouble. Ranboo’s life depends on not recovering those memories, but the lives of the killer’s future victims rely on him recovering them.
Eight didn’t mean to get roped into murder. Honestly, they just wanted to spend time with their best friend and make him happy. So what if that was at the cost of a couple of innocent lives? Eight would do anything for Dream. Their relationship isn’t as innocent as it seems, and neither are Dream's intentions. And who even is Eight? And why keep Ranboo alive?

"Ranboo gave a small sigh as he let his head fall back from where he was reading the novel he held in his hands, his half bleached and half dyed hair falling in front of his face. He loves this novel, he does, it's really nice and it has some nice literary devices and such and some really funny and cool references but he isn’t feeling it right now. Tomorrow he starts school in person, actually in person since the accident. Mostly he’s done school online or just been homeschooled by his dad but his dad really wanted him to try and at least be with some other kids and make some friends or at least socialize. The funny thing is his dad is also extremely awkward when it comes to other people so he feels it's a bit hypocritical but he also knows his dad wants him to have better social skills than him so he also knows that it's justified which sucks cause he feels really anxious around other people."
Ok so basically this is a self indulgent fic of where Techno is Ranboo's adopted dad.

It starts with the cold. Sudden and sharp and terrible. Ranboo has never been this cold before.
Not even the deepest parts of the ocean shocked him like this.
His every exhale is frosty and each inhale stings. This human form shivers so easy– too easily. The thin cotton shirt he stole off a clothesline does nothing to block out the biting cold of the winter night.
There is a presence in the air, and Ranboo is sure someone is following him.
Ranboo ducked behind a wall, breathing in and out and hissing at the feeling of the cold stone through the shirt against his back.
The footsteps behind him have stopped.
