Summary
Technoblade hasn't had very much luck in his life. Kind of ironic. But hey, maybe this time it will be different! After all, Phil and Tommy seem quite nice. He's had way worse experiences with former foster families before. And he's even found a few friends! (Read: One friend found him.)
The car ride is not particularly exciting but it certainly doesn't lessen his fear of going to the mall. Entering the parking lot (the one a block away, not the one right beside the mall) seems like the worst idea that anyone could ever have. Techno doesn't get out of the car or even moves to open the door for a few moments. Phil turns to look at him.
"Is everything alright, mate? We can always just leave again, just tell me if you want to."
Techno's heart aches. (As do his feet. As does his back.) He has always wished for somebody to take his needs into account. But now that he has someone who does, he can't act upon it - if he has the chance to get new clothes, presumably even quite many considering Phil's need to care for everyone he can, he has to take it.

Summary
All of Stronghold had been able to see the convoy for hours now. Since morning a slow, messy line had steadily moved closer to them. So long that it extended towards the mountains many miles south.
Soon they would be close enough to make out the people themselves, carrying their flags high in the air, victorious.And Wilbur's brother at the very front, leading.

Or, Wilbur has not seen Technoblade in close to a year, hundreds of miles of snow and ice between them. Their reunion should have been a happy one, but his twin's behavior is a cause for concern.

“Well aren’t you just a sweet thing,” A voice purrs, their tone melodic and sweet, practically dripping with honey.
Tommy shivers, curling in closer to the warmth around him, the voice wrapping around his mind, tugging him in more and more. His head pounds, and his body aches, his ears feel muffled, and his mind feels distant and far away. All he knows is the warmth around him, the gentle hand running through his hair, and the dull ache in the back of his head.
The pain continues on like a relentless itch, only momentarily soothed by the hand carding through his hair.
Or Tommy is an undercover spy who gets himself tangled up with Wilbur Soot, a dangerous man with people out against him.

Summary
Techno slammed his fists against the transparent wall of his prison, trying his best to break it down. His captors backed up, whistling anxiously to each other.
He gave the barrier another loud crack, delightedly watching as they scrambled away in abject terror.
Nodding in satisfaction, he turned around to meet the eyes of two other prisoners that had been thrown into his cell.
He froze.
Right.
There were now aliens in his cell.
And he probably just scared the hell out of them.
Or: Humans are a dangerous race feared by all on an intergalactic scale. Techno, a human ex-soldier that was abducted by aliens 18 months ago, is biding his time in captivity.
This changes when two young aliens are sent into his cell to die.

Summary
Technoblade was yanked out of his thoughts by thousands of warning screeches ringing through his head, disrupting the usual hum. He winced and looked up, realizing he had been about to enter a small clearing.
A ring of yellow flowers grew innocently in the center. Technoblade tensed, gripping the hilt of his sword upon seeing the creature standing within the circle.
A high fae.
Finally, he had found what he came here for.
Or: Technoblade is a 500 year old human cursed to live in eternal torment by a fae. To fix this problem, he seeks out the Queen of the Seelie court.
He might just find something more valuable along the way.

Wilbur, he learns, doesn't become any less uncanny the more you know him. Almost the contrary, in fact. He is, quite possibly, the strangest human being Techno ever encountered in his 18 years of existence. And he looked into his mirror once.
If only it was the only weird thing.
There are crows following him literally everywhere. And it's not regular crows, far from it. The only time Techno really looked one in its little beady and intelligent eyes, there was... something. This thing was definitely NOT an animal. And Techno was kinda okay with that at first. Look, his finals are approaching way too fast, Techno's not about to let some potentially hallucinated crows ruin his week.
But then, the terrors start to like him. They follow him to his dorm and stare at him silently and unmoving throughout his day. When Techno points it out to Wilbur, he just laughs, bright and loud, and says.
"I'm glad they like you. They're my father's you know. They like to protect family, don't worry about it."
Why, then, do they follow him? He swallows the question when he realizes he doesn't want to know the answer.
Or, it's time for Techno to be "adopted".

It's a pretty crappy deal, and anyway, Techno's half convinced it isn't real. Not for him at least. After all, he was sure that he'd meet his soulmate over and over, only to end the day disappointed and left with the knowledge that his life is bound to always get worse.
In the middle of his broken hopes and dull expectations, Techno's subway car crashes.

Summary
Alien’s were oblivious things.
Scoring a job with the Astral All Hands Company was scarily easy. After stealing a communion device, clothes to hide himself and threatening low life alien criminals into making him fake ID’s Techno was all set. No one asked twice about the fake planet that was listed on his ID or why they haven’t heard of it.
With all this in mind, Techno concludes that aliens are oblivious. It has to be in their nature to write things off because there’s so many species around, coming and going. The SBI crew was like everyone else in that regard. The second he stepped foot on their ship they acted as if he was always there. Like he was something dancing in the background having finally come to life.
But of course now that he’s living with them it’s hard to keep them oblivious. To keep them away from the truth. But he tries, even if it slowly becomes useless.
Or: The four times Techno keeps his human heritage a secret and the one time he learns what it really means to be human.

Technoblade has always had wings, ever since they grew when he was a toddler. Most of the foster homes he's been part of struggle to really care for him and all of his hybrid needs. He's happy and looking forward to being part of this family.

Techno is immortal. Unfortunately for him, the mortals didn’t quite pick up the ‘Never able to die’ part when they locked him in a mausoleum.
Years pass and Techno is alone. Until a family of three finally finds and releases him, taking him home.
They take care of him. They are kind. But no matter how much Techno yearns for this, he knows it won’t last forever. The only thing that does is him, as much as he hates it.
Though, this strange little family might just prove him wrong.
