Summary
What if Zuko actually DID get himself adopted by a Nice Earth Kingdom Family?
And also everyone else he ever meets. Because lets be real, he is incredibly adoptable. Even if that means that by Fire Nation Law, the Fire Sages have to update the Royal Familytree every ten-or-so minutes.
At least succession s guaranteed now, right? In which everyone has a grand 'ol time except Ozai, who somehow lost his rightful place as Fire Lord to an Earth Kingdom peasant after banishing his useless son, and Jee, who has to deal with being adopted by a Great Spirit (and also the rest of the madness. his prince keeps getting adopted by people. this is a problem).

Summary
Mortals are blind after so long without the Avatar, without Raava and her chosen soul to show them the power of the Gods. Mortals see nothing of importance these days, but this will change.
It starts slowly, starts with Agni's frown, Tui and La looking down at their people and raging against the world that took them for granted, Vayu and Raava working in tandem to bring peace but being stopped at every turn, Bhumi's blank gaze turning cold as Oma and Shu share worried whispers about their people.
Six children, chosen by their gods to bring back Balance to the world they care so much for. Six children, blessed by the spirits that tell them of things to come. Six children, children with their elements in their blood and Fate in their veins.

How long can Roppi hide in the spirit world? As long as he wants! Why would he ever leave? The world is in peace, with no reason for an avatar. He had all the food he could need, a cozy place to live and a loyal animal companion! What's more, he even had a best friend, Tsukishima, who was always by his side.
It was just a shame that Roppi still hasn't met him in person.Series

Summary
Knowledge is power, that's what Zhao has always thought. After so many years of careful planning, it's not a surprise to see his plan going right.
Too right, in fact...
In the end, it's one small piece of missing knowledge that makes it go terribly wrong and gets him stuck with a whole new set of responsibilities he didn't want, with someone who hates him as much as he hates his new life. Or should he say 'death'?

Summary
Zuko, Prince of the Fire Nation has just been banished. He’s spoken out of turn, disobeyed Uncle, even disrespected Father . He’s failed the nation that he’s supposed to rule one day and deserves his punishment, not the possibility to regain his honor given to him by Father.
Capture the Avatar? Okay. He resides in Ba Sing Se, the most heavily fortified city in the Earth Kingdom, but okay.
Return him to the Fire Nation alive? Sure. He’s probably being trained by bending masters from around the world but sure.
Get his honor back and learn to rule his nation with pride and justice? Fine. Azula hates him, Mother’s gone , and he looks absolutely hideous with his scar, but it’s fine.
At least he knows where the Avatar is. After all, the Avatar is sacred. He must be protected in Ba Sing Se.
Right?
Or, the Fire Nation was more than thorough in their search for the Avatar, but Zuko learns early on that his honor had never been lost.

It is said that fortune favors the bold— that fortune favors the brave, the strong. That is not the case with the Fire Nation’s Crown Prince, who dies at the tender age of thirteen, tucked within the safety of Caldera.

Summary
Tui didn't need a life sacrificed to survive the encounter with Zhao. Eating some firebending did the job too. After all, fire was life, and there was a prince whose fire was strong.
