Summary
Legend had been doing this for a long time. The life before now was just a memory. He struggled to recall days spent in the orchard with his uncle at ease. He couldn’t recall the flavor of life not tainted by his curse. He shouldered the weight of his burden without complaint, hid his heart beneath sarcasm, and stumbled words. He’d struggle and claw his way to the next day even when he couldn’t see the reason.

The Downfall Timeline heroes die but come back to life every time. This leads to complications.

Summary
Link is a failure.
It’s something he’s always known, he thinks, deep down within himself. A heavy feeling it is: failure. It seeps in through his nose, clogging his throat and making it impossible to breathe, swirling around his temples and bringing a constant ache, settling into his stomach with a weight that brings him to his knees. It loops around his arms, his fingers, holding him in its clutches until he can do nothing but succumb.
Here, in this space between light and dark, this pocket of in between realities, he succumbs. He falls, down and down and down, plummeting to a dark sea. Black and red. Blood and deep, deep water. But Link does not sink. No, he walks. That feeling, horrible and domineering, pulls him like a puppet along the raging sea.
In which the Chain meets after the events of Tears of the Kingdom and Sky is the last to join. It takes time for trust to be earned, especially with added confusion regarding the Goddess and timelines.

Linkle was enjoying a mostly-peaceful retirement after defeating the Calamity, traveling around Hyrule and reconnecting with the friends and family she had forgotten from amnesia, until eight ancient heroes came looking for a new Link to join the Chain. Pretending to be a man in order to prank her legendary predecessors wasn't on her bucket list until now, but when her best friend Zelda says they were inviting "Sir Link" to join them on a quest to eradicate black-blooded monsters, she had the perfect opportunity. Will her little practical joke keep all the boys at arms' length, or will the Heroine of the Wild find herself gaining a new set of brothers on this time-space-hopping adventure?

Summary
Everyone has their secrets, it’s just a matter of how well they’re kept. Some people hold onto their secrets like lifelines; others…try their best. Green has a lot of secrets to keep from his fellow heroes: from the existence of his brothers, to the shrinking abilities granted from Link’s first adventure, to the spiderweb of cracks that split his skin as they spread up his sword arm. However, as the adventure continues and he unwillingly gets folded into the mismatched family of heroes, those secrets might be a little more difficult to keep than he’d first anticipated. Especially as timelines get further intertwined, signs of a new powerful enemy begin to surface, and their understanding of magic itself is shaken to its core. With multiple eras thrown into chaos, and Green somehow stuck in the middle of it all, he might not be able to keep his secrets for as long as he’d like.
