"Wh- what?" he gasps, dropping his fork and swallowing back the salad that suddenly feels like cement in his throat. Holly's looking at him with a strange expression, like she's trying to figure something out.
"Will. Is he your boyfriend?" she repeats, even though Mike very obviously heard her, and the question doesn't feel any less shocking the second time.
"No!" He yelps. "No, why would you think that?"
Holly shrugs, taking another bite of spaghetti like this is a normal conversation and she is not slowly killing him. "Nancy calls him your little boyfriend sometimes, and Mom says he's your person, which basically means the same thing, and you live together and act like a couple and unpack groceries together, and- I don't know. Seems like it could be a thing."

“As we both remember,” Kunikida started, and Dazai snickered, clearly reading this as a prepared speech. “When I started my current job, it caused some interpersonal difficulties in our relationship, namely in regards to sexual intimacy.”
Kunikida had accepted the job about a year and a half ago now, and it had kept him so busy the first four months that he and Dazai had hardly seen each other. Eventually, Kunikida’s workload had become more manageable, and he and Dazai talked some things out, made a few agreements and came to a few compromises, returning to a rhythm that worked for them. Though Dazai had whined at the time, it was clear that there was no lingering animosity or hard feelings. Still, Kunikida had to steel his nerves before this next line, hoping it would also result in, at the very least, a lack of animosity on Dazai’s part.
“During this time, I began experiencing a recurring fantasy involving you finding that intimacy with someone else.”
Or: Practically married Kunizai decide to try cucking, and invite Chuuya to be their bull. He accepts, and it doesn't pan out quite the way Kunikida expected.

Toriel, from the kitchen, poked her head out and said only: “Shoes off, dear. I just mopped.”
Like Susie belonged there.
Like she wasn’t a guest anymore.
Kris gave her the couch and curled up on Chariel. Susie protested, at first—“It’s your damn house, dude,” she said, “I can sleep on the floor, I’ve done it before”—but Kris was already half-buried in blankets and completely silent, which meant the conversation was over.
At some point, when the house had gone completely quiet and the shadows settled, Susie whispered:
“Hey.”
Kris shifted their head to look at her.
The moonlight caught her hair, the jagged edge of her teeth. Her eyes were clearer than they ever were at school. No posturing. No sneer. Just Susie. Bare and real in a borrowed T-shirt, her knees pulled up, her voice a rasp.

He almost tossed it, laughing at the absurdity of his boss giving him a voucher for a whore house.

What’s the harm of giving it a try?
AKA Dazai is depressed and makes it everyone else's problem, so Mori provides a solution. A session at the best brothel in town. Dazai books the infamous Tainted Red, expecting a beautiful cruel dominatrix only to realize he's made a terrible mistake. One that might just be the best thing that could have happened to him.
