Summary
A year after escaping a terrible situation in which he was forced to pretend to be someone he was not, suffer at the hands of his old cult, and survive a horror filled school Grian is finally able to live rather than just survive. His first Christmas comes with its ups and downs, spending most of it sleep deprived from the fear of a certain red nosed stranger. He'll experience his first winter where the goal is not survival but to just have fun.

Summary

This is a collection of short stories that happened years before the canon events in "The Whole Being Dead Thing: Except I'm not" the work before this one. It would probably be good to have that knowledge before entering this fic, but it isn't needed if you really aren't into horror.

She may never be seen by any of her peers but they all know she's there watching over the blond that sticks close to Sam. Because she knows what awaits him when Sam tires of playing pretend.

Summary
What started out as a joke quickly turned into something more devastating.
None of the Hermits were excited for this exchange program, in honesty it sounded stupid to force them out of their well comforted school and home. Scar's friends weren't exactly happy he was the one picked for their social experiment either.
It ended up leading to a rabbit hole of a missing person's case, a teacher's suspicious death, ghosts, and a boy who adamantly refuses to where his uniform.
Scar didn't expect to uncover a cold case when he changed schools.

And besides. It couldn’t hurt to see Ren again. Probably.”
While trying to get approved as a foster parent, former foster child Doc Monsterra finds himself helping out his old college friend and longtime crush with the local Buttercup Scouts troop! It’s not all fun and games and selling cookies, though, and Doc soon finds himself entangled in the lives of the kids he’s helping out. As cookie season begins and the annual scout camp approaches, Doc grows closer to Ren and to the kids, and finds his life changed forever.

Summary
Mumbo was gone, so Scar was sent to go find him.
And it could only be Scar, because he was the only one with magic strong enough to brave the forest near Boatem, the only one capable of walking through it without collapsing.
And when he finds Mumbo, in the middle of a golden field, he finds him waiting for something.
Something that made Scar join Mumbo in the field, and he was glad to do so.
Scar would do anything he could to help.
Or: Mumbo was hiding something from the others. Scar found out, accidentally. But really, he can’t complain, and he doubts Mumbo didn’t want the help.
