Running into Bruce and Tim at said oral surgeon's office? Less fixable.

Edward Elric hoped he could retire from military service in peace, traveling Amestris while his brother Alphonse went to Xing. This is put on hold when now-Führer Mustang asks him to travel to the Outside, to the world beyond that was barricaded for centuries after the development of something called ‘Quirks’. A soldier has been killed and Amestris needs to know more about the Outside.

He presses further into the younger boy’s space. “Let’s get one thing straight, Replacement,” he snarls lowly, and he knows his eyes are glowing an awful, predatory green. “I am very dead. And if I have anything to say about it, Batman isn’t ever going to be happy again.”
His face is tight with pain, but he’s doing a valiant job at controlling his ragged breathing, his blood a steady drip drip drip onto the tile between them. His eyes meet Jason’s unflinchingly, and Jason can see the green glow reflected in them. He expects begging, bargaining, even some of that trademarked Robin sass that Dick seems to have passed along with the mantle.

Fuck you.” Jason catches a little glimpse of Robin's canine teeth as he speaks with a strange lisp, flashing in the dim street lights and strangely elongated, and has an ‘oh shit’ moment unlike any he's experienced before.
Tim Drake has gone and gotten himself turned into a vampire. A while ago too, based on the state of him.
Tim Drake becomes a vampire. Jason has always had a soft spot for hungry kids.

Summary
Tim is prepared to take the steps necessary to ensure that Bruce will not feel obligated to adopt Tim when a comatose Jack Drake inevitably dies. But what could be better than preventing Bruce from ending up with a son he doesn't want? Bringing back the one he does.
Jason agrees to the Replacement's stupid, stupid plan to invite some strange adult man he's never met to come live with him, if only to keep the idiot alive long enough for him to serve his purpose in the Great Red Hood Revenge Scheme.
