Upon further investigation, there were similar prints just out of sight of Legend's sleeping spot within the cave. The outline of a child's hand rested, cold and ashen, just where someone would plant it in order to peek into the cave. The footprints vanished in similar fashion to the ones before, disappearing into thin air with nowhere to go.
The feeling of eyes didn't leave him the whole day, or into the night as he set up across from the tunnel once again. It was a little easier to relax, though, now that he knew what it was. It wasn't some monster, too smart to attack him but too stubborn to leave, or a mountain resident, waiting to see what they could steal from him.
It was a ghost. Legend could deal with a ghost.
Or: Legend meets someone who is not a ghost. Twice.

“He doesn’t want us touching him,” Warriors said, gesturing over at the lump of blankets where the new Link was curled up. “Wouldn’t let me carry him away from the fire even though he was overwhelmed by the people.”
“This is addin’ up in a way I don’t like much,” Twilight said. “I know he’s a Link, but…” This seemed like a lot of trouble for someone so small, someone who hadn’t been on any adventures yet.
Legend stepped forward, looking angry at nothing in particular. “When I carried him to camp, I noticed how light he was. He said he’d gone into our camp because he was looking for food. He might be from around here, but that alone raises some questions. What was a kid his age doing, travelling in the woods, alone, with no food stores and no weapon?”
OR:
Link is lost, confused, and scared. There's no way he's gonna trust these weird warriors, even if they don't seem like they want to hurt him.
The chain wants to help this new little hero. And if they find their missing healer on the way, well... so much the better!

“Well,” the boy said to it as the sun dipped closer to the trees, “your hero didn't show up yet, but I bet they're coming! I bet they're real nice, too. You’re probably going to save the world together.”
He was borrowing it. He was borrowing the Sword of Legend, and… what, checking in to see if it was needed? Waiting for a hero to come for it?
It wasn’t sure what to think. It wasn’t supposed to think about its wielders. But it found itself looking forward to the stories, keeping an eye out while the boy slept, memorizing as much of the information he gave it as it could.
Its job was to protect the innocent, after all.
Or: Hyrule finds a sword. The sword has opinions about this.

It was always like that with Wilbur, he mused as he felt the familiar burn in his fingertips spread. Keeping him happy had been like trying to herd a cloud of smoke from one room to another without breathing it in. At least when he was young the smoke had been a sign of the cabin's hearth, a place to run to rather than from. It was only later, when Pogtopia turned the Hearth's smoke to an ugly blackened thing, one of paranoia and cigar ash and the hiss of a lit fuse, that Tommy noticed just how much had got into his lungs. Secondhand smoke was a serious issue, Niki had always reminded him when Wilbur was just within earshot, close enough to hear but far enough to feel unnoticed.
It never mattered. Pogtopia held smoke like a tank held water, letting it fester and seep into every breath, and Wilbur's bad habits only died with him.Tommy goes to Techno's cabin for help. Or- he tries. There's a teensy blizzard in the way.
This sort of turned into a character study? Don't worry about it I guess lol

"What the fuck were they thinking? Civilians?” Tubbo turned to Purpled, who was flipping through the Guidebook. “That can’t be allowed. Is that allowed? Why would they allow that?”
Purpled made an outraged noise in the back of his throat. “There are no rules on civilians staying for Trials, because no one has ever been fucking stupid enough to want to stay for a Trial.” He snapped the book shut.
“So they can-” Tubbo cut himself off anxiously.
“If this was literally any other Guild procedure, no, the civilians would not be allowed to stay in the house. But the whole point of a Trial is that it’s safe and nothing really happens.” Purpled shoved the handbook in his pocket. “So. Yes. We’re just going to have to deal with them.”

Tommy is part of a Squad of Guild Investigators, or at least he will be once he finishes this final exam. Trials are the only real action Cadets get pre-graduation, so normally he'd be excited- but with a technicality letting civilians stay in the House and a paperwork mixup leaving his team with no info, he has a feeling this Trial is going to be more of a chore than an adventure.
At least it's not dangerous, right?

The creature sweeps a wing towards the room, as if to gesture to the stones themselves. “This Castle is… old. It has a lot of history. Roses hold a lot of symbolism for the deity that once lived here, the one the Castle was made for.”
Techno squints. “What kind of symbolism?” He asks suspiciously.
“You might have noticed,” The monster’s voice rumbles, rolling slowly through the air, “But the Castle’s Signet is a rose. Black ones hold significance, yes, but yellow…” He makes a face like he’s pursing his lips, though it’s hard to tell through his twisted features. “They are important.”
OR
Tommy is bored in this stupid village, with nothing to do and friends that live out of town. Wilbur goes to search for the missing member of their family, and makes an accidental stop to get Tommy a gift.

The building was falling down around them, ashes and sparks flying through the hazy air. Todoroki used his quirk, crying out in frustration when the heat turned the ice immediately to steam.
Izuku appeared next to him in the smoke, panting and holding a few people on his back. "What are you doing?!" He had to yell over the roar of the flames.
"I can't put anything down, it's evaporating too fast!" He tried again. Steam and smoke danced through their vision.
"You ran out of ice?! You can't run out of ice!" He frantically hoisted one of the people higher on his back. "I thought you could just use the water in the air!"
Todoroki coughed and turned incredulously to his partner. "There is no water in this air! And I'm dehydrated, Izuku! What's your excuse, run out of muscle?!"
"I can't just go crashing through walls, the buildings gonna collapse any second, it's gonna come down on top of us!"

So yeahIida tries to make a class group chat for the sole purpose of academics. Things do not go as planned. Not only do they immediately make a seperate class group chat, they immediately spiral into an abyss of chaos. There's no coming back out of this Rabbit Hole.
(aka Jirou knows everyone is part of the Lgbtqia+ community in some way or another, sparing a few allies. So she names the new class group chat accordingly.)
