Summary
Janine Watson is a struggling veteran just trying to make her way in London, a city that doesn't seem to care about her trials. She has no family to speak of, less to speak TO, and few friends who care about her. A routine morning takes a turn when she runs into a friend of hers on the train and she gets herself firmly involved with a local scandal. Scotty Hudson isn't exactly who he says he is, but Janine doesn't care. He did her a good turn when SHE needed a friend, and now she's going to repay the favour in kind. Even if that means getting between "Scotty" and an unsuspecting Jim Moriarty. Needing a place to go post-showdown, Janine takes "Scotty" and goes home to Scotland for a spell.

Sherlock and Janine (good female John) escape London after the fall to go to a place in Scotland. It's really well written and the relationships between characters develop well. Like Lestrade gets the love he deserves and Sherlock becomes a cop the proper way.

In a case of bad luck, John is separated from his unit and stumbles across a terrorist cell in the mountains. Three years later, Mycroft never learned the name of the soldier who saved him, and gets a shock when a certain Army Doctor becomes flat-mates with his younger brother. No Slash.

Thanksgiving is taken very seriously in the Barton Family (or, rather, between the Barton siblings). Typically James hosts, considering Skyfall manor is the only place large enough to fit them all. However, it was rather recently...blown up. Yeah. Will's apartment is far too small, and John, Aaron, Jason, and Brian have the same problem. William has recently shipped out to Afghanistan, and while none of the Barton clan would be opposed to a vacation in warmer climates, it's not the best backdrop for Thanksgiving dinner.
Clint, on the other hand, has just moved into Stark Tower.

Summary

BOOK ONE.
Sherlock Holmes attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The whole of this is to see a glimpse of BBC Sherlock's character interacting with the characters in Harry Potter.
This covers Sherlock's first to third year at Hogwarts and John's fourth to sixth year at Hogwarts. It is from 1988 to 1990.
The story starts out in 1988 since according to Sherlock's gravestone, he was born on January 6, 1977. Relationships will be as loyal to the Sherlock episodes as well as the Harry Potter books as I possibly can. Everything I write will be heavily researched. Some of the dialogue are based on the books (both Sherlock Holmes and Harry Potter) as well as the films and TV Series itself.

Summary
John is a sixth year Gryffindor in love with his best friend, Ravenclaw Sherlock. Even the fact that he knows it's unrequited hasn't helped. He makes an unexpected new acquaintance one day in the form of an otter, which is just as well, since Sherlock starts acting odder than usual and even disappearing at times, without explanation when he shows up again.
