again and he silently begged for any sea god to please let him out of the dizzying, pitch-black hell. His body ached from getting beaten into the box’s side. The water was stale and disgusting in his gills. There wasn’t any light and he couldn’t see anything.
He was so full of fear he was beginning to get numb to it.
He didn’t know what these humans wanted with him, but he knew it couldn’t be good if they started by shoving him into this too-small box and tossing him around like a boat on an angry sea.

Tim Drake has always had a strong disdain for magic, after all Gotham was a cursed city made of death and ruin. when John Constantine arrives chasing a mage with powerful and ancient artifacts? Its a normal day in this hell of a city. Though when dealing with magic? Things tend to change faster than the tides of the ocean.

Tim gets hit in the fight with a mage looking to leach magic from Gotham's catacombs and finds himself swapped with another version of himself, nothing in his life is a coincidence and within the chaos of trying to find a way home, dark secrets get pulled to light and shatter illusions that had been carefully constructed. Only time will tell if this is where they find themselves in ruin or closer than they ever could've imagined.

Jason scrolled through the whole Wayne wiki, then the public records of his public school, and then he hacked hospital files, police files, even FBI files, but came up with nothing. No Jason Todd. Sheila never got pregnant. Cathy and Willis never had a child. Willis never went to prison. Cathy never overdosed.
Jason Todd didn't exist.
In short, Jason gets transported into an AU where he doesn't exist. Magic becomes the very essence of his being, his killer and saviour.

And so, Jason could’ve died again, crimson blood unapologetically splattering on the bricks of that alley, a last cry struggling to leave his throat…calling for Bruce? Dick? His Mom that so selfishly left him to die too? No, he would’ve embraced Death like a long lost friend. When he first met her, wretched and resentful, he is certain now that he would feel at peace with her. Because Jason had refused to die back then, holding on to the last shred of hope that filled his gushing veins, begging for help when his brain couldn’t even form a coherent thought — skull cracked and limbs broken.
Now, Jason doesn't care enough anymore to call for help.

Jason has arrived at a point in his life where he honestly doesn’t question things anymore. There are only so many absurdities and bullshit one can go through before simply accepting whatever fresh hell life is tossing him into.
The newest one seems to be what can only be described as a geriatric home for grumpy assassins.
He absolutely can’t see the appeal, but as usual no one’s asking him for his opinion. Nevertheless, Jason is stuck up here, whether he likes it or not.
