Husk didn't have much left to care about in his afterlife. Having his soul owned by the Radio demon didn't make life easy, especially when said demon constantly sent him out on stupid missions despite working at some stupid hotel. It just made his already bland afterlife even more annoying.
Yet when he meets Angel Dust, an upcoming overlord in the pentagram, he finds his soul being used as nothing more as a bargaining chip yet again between the spider and deer. With his soul now in the hands of Angel Dust, Husk realizes how much different this overlord is compared to any other he'd ever met. What if "Donnie's Gifts" was a little more... violent? What would have happened if Don's brothers were slower in their rescue and what if Meat Sweats didn't know how to stop? Donatello might not be the best at expressing himself but his gifts were never meant to hurt the brothers he holds so dear. All he wanted to do was show that he cared, show that he was part of the team, of the family, in whatever way he could. A little miscommunication, a little torture and whole lot of sensory overload results in the turtle brothers more than they would have ever thought about their purple-banded genius.

Zuko is just trying to survive Boiling Rock prison. He didn't make it out on time on the Day of Black Sun and frankly, he's lucky to be alive. His escape attempts have proven futile and he doesn't have any allies to speak of here. His best bet is keeping his head down and trying to survive.
Sokka is just here to break his dad out. It's his fault his dad was captured and he needs to fix this. His plan is working well enough so far; he's made it here, he's disguised as a guard, no one suspects him, now he just has to find his dad and get out.
Blue eyes meet gold. A flash of recognition. Shit just got a whole lot more complicated.

“ Sokka’s heart started with concern, which surprised him, because he was still slightly wary of the firebender. But here was Zuko, huddled on the floor, at his mercy. “Zuko, are you okay?”
Again, that impossibly weak voice. “G-got th-the b-b-bolts...” Zuko whispered. Sokka looked at the frosty bolts on the floor. He scooped them up and dumped them in his pocket carelessly, never taking his attention away from Zuko. “Great, you got the bolts, but are you okay?”
The lump curled in on itself. “C-cold...” It whimpered. Sokka knew the dangers of hypothermia, growing up in the Southern Water Tribe, and he realized Zuko had it bad.”
Slightly canon divergent but not like plot altering one shot where the coolers at the Boiling Rock are a lot colder and it gives Zuko and Sokka the chance to have some ~male bonding~
This was written to be platonic but I tagged Zuko/Sokka because it can be interpreted that way if you want.

Vox grits his teeth with a growl and directs his glare back to Lucifer. “Listen here you royal piece of shit.” He starts as his claws harshly poke at the glass separating them with every word. “I own you now. You have no power in this situation. You understand?”
Lucifer is yet again confused about what exactly Vox wants from all this as he sighs. “Yeah you mentioned that but the thing is..I really don’t care.”
The man in front of him is a perfect mixture of baffled and furious at his blasé attitude. “Well you should!”
“Mmmm, says who?” Lucifer asks with a confused tilt of his head.
“Wha- says me!” Vox shouts, grip on his composure slipping. “You should care because I said so!”
“My, quite the compelling argument.” Alastor interjects snidely.
“Alastor, shut the fuck up.” Vox scowls at the radio demon.
OR:
Lucifer ragebaits too close to the sun and causes Vox to put him on the guest list for his Heaven take over party to prove to him he's not a failure.

Each time one pierced a new layer as his body attempted to heal around them, a wet, sickening pop echoed inside the chamber. His golden blood leaked down the cords in narrow, shimmering streams, dripping onto scorched metal. It must’ve looked beautiful.

Blitz leaned against the wall, grinning, holding his arm against his bruised ribs. He could just see Fizz and Asmodeus through the crack in the curtains. Fuck, he was beat to shit, and all he could smell for a few long moments was blood and smoke that clung to his clothes, then the faintest hint of lavender. It was practically a Pavlovian response, the way Blitz's muscles loosened.
Wait, lavender--?
The curtains fluttered open, and Blitz felt like he'd been shot directly in the chest, because standing there, frozen, beak open, was Stolas, gripping his stupid top hat and all four eyes wide and trained on Blitz's beat-up form.
"Stolas?"

Or: the one where Fizz and Blitz are a little bit more beat up after fighting the mafia and Striker, and Fizz uses Puppy Eyes on Blitz to convince him to walk him up to Ozzie's office (it was super effective).
