Naturally second string Watcher and legendary screw-up Rupert "Ripper" Giles (with his history of rebellion, demonic possession, kinda-sorta-justifiable homicide, and frequent head injuries) gets sent to the unlikeliest backwater to barely make the list: Sunnydale, California. So when Buffy Summers actually does enroll in Sunnydale High, it cannot be denied that there's a reason why she's here and a reason why it's now. But as a Buffy fan, that's the story you already know. How are things different this time? This time Giles is possessed by an incubus! Or... erm... well... part of him is.
