Summary

Summary
Mind and Matter is an AU written out of order. It's a personal guilty pleasure project of sorts. I have an overall plot in mind, but I cannot be bothered to do it in order. I write when the urge arises. Some things may be updated in order, and some may not. Just enjoy the ride.
In a universe where Luke is the Imperial Prince, Vader fears for his son's life after discovering Palpatine's plans for the boy. Piett, captain of The Executor is given an overwhelming task; to protect Lord Vader's son, heir to the throne, and the future of the Empire. Fleeing the Empire he once so proudly served, Piett sees enemies everywhere in his desperate goal to protect what his Lord holds most dear.
After several years Vader, pulled by the Force goes to perform one of his usual check-ins only to discover how far his captain had gone to protect his son and at what cost- for blood stains dirt black, and black dirt stains Piett's feet.
Writing is not a usual hobby of mine, so I am very new to this..

Summary
The game had changed for the Winters family. Surprisingly, Chris had come through in the end. As for Heisenberg and the deal, well… Miranda was dead and that was all Ethan cared about. With the worst behind them now, and normalcy slowly pressing its festering claws around their lives, Ethan finally started to believe that maybe the universe had grown bored with destroying his life. Life seemed almost simple again. Almost.
The same wasn't true for Heisenberg. While the tried and true practice of keeping your enemies closer still held its value in the modern world, he had never quite prepared for the initial part of that saying to complicate an ongoing rebellion against a false god's empire. Now with the BSAA experimenting with different strategies of warfare, and an anti-mutant rhetoric festering in its ranks, the future is suddenly far less stable for a certain mold-infected father and the last remaining heir of Miranda’s twisted family.
✯✯✯AU ending, Heisenberg/Ethan team up. Majority of the story is Heisenberg centric and post-ending. Angst, friendships, and gay romance. Some changes and additions to lore, largely the end of the game. Finally returning after a long break.

When Ethan was fourteen, his world went up in flames. When he was fourteen, he took his mother's gun and escaped the city with a wagon of other survivors who knew better than to betray their names or faces to the smiling people in uniforms who claimed to be aid workers. He learned early that help is not always help, and that people are rarely who they claim to be, or even who they think they are.
He learned early not to let anyone else decide for him the difference between monsters willing and monsters made.
