Summary

This is the story of an adeptus whose life was rewritten when he sacrificed himself to protect his lord. Instead of death, the valiant warrior was given a reward for his service, a chance to live a life different from the tragic one that he had lived.
This is the story of how a family of adepti nurtured a baby bird with love until he grew and finally soared into the peaceful skies of Liyue Harbor.
In short: De-aged/reincarnated Xiao and how Liyue and its adepti raised him.

Everything started when the Yuheng of the Liyue Qixing kept pestering him.

Liyue is a nation of trade, rather peaceful and prosperous, best known for the merchants and business commenced. But back in the times of war, where battle and corpses were littered everywhere, it was a nation known for its might and power, where entities of divinity congregated the thickest.
Liyue had festered in peace for so many years, its militia has grown soft, alongside with a series of other problems, something which cannot be permitted, now that it is attempting to extricate itself from the protection of the divine gazes.
Xiao doesn’t understand why the Yuheng wants him to help, or how to for that matter. But he does know that if the Qixing wants to grow independent, asking one of the Adepti for help isn’t the right way to go, so he is very resolved in ignoring the constant pleas of the Yuheng.
That is, until Rex Lapis himself comes to ask for him to aid Liyue.

he starts as slave and then weapon, muttered by dissenters and spat by his god at her most wrathful. somewhere along the way, he gains bloodhound and dreamwalker, spoken in terror by enemies and said in that terrible mix of reverence-fear by those who worship her.
one terrible war later and the establishment of her capital and he becomes general, and it is general that stays.

Summary
As Morax’s marshal, Bosacius personally supervises the training of the new yaksha recruits. He isn’t sure that the young and skittish Xiao has what it takes, but he makes a point to give everyone a chance.
Or almost everyone. Bosacius has mixed feelings about the ex-bloodhound that Morax saved and is now tending to in one of his domains, especially as Morax mentioned in passing that this mysterious Adeptus might later want to join their ranks.
Of course, both these issues are completely unrelated.

Xiao's breath hitched a little, only the slightest bit. Enough to be a weakness. The voice in the back of his head supplies. Morax’s voice was cold and lifeless. His lord didn’t give him a glance, or a command to stop kneeling, but to go back to the front lines. The Adeptus dared his yellow gaze up at his lord, only to find no amber eyes staring back, which made him pause.
OR, Xiao tries to report to Morax. Morax is in a bad mood. You can imagine how that would go.

Most of these will be written as stand alone stories. Some will have references to other stories in the series or may even be direct sequels (which will be noted in summery)
a collection of stories revolving mostly around Kaeya. Diluc will be another prominent character as well but wont be in every story. they will be ordered chronologically but will not be written as such. He was a man of many deeds, but little words. Silence fell loud on his shoulders as he gripped onto a motionless figure, carrying the body with heavy steps out of the bloodied palace walls. The expression on the knight’s face blank. Tears streamed down his cheeks.
“Kaeya”, his shaky voice managed to utter.
