Summary
When Scott went to the trouble of finding a magic user to help him sustain his immortality, even against vampiric means of death, it seemed like a great idea. He wanted to live forever, and the magic made sure that a little stake of wood couldn't be the thing to do him in. Which was shown to be necessary, considering the attack on him that occurred soon thereafter.
Unfortunately, it seems that the upset masses scrounged themselves up a magic user too. No one so talented or skilled, of course. Only money can bring that. But the witch got their job done in a simpler way.
By enchanting the tomb they shoved him into to never open again.

Or: Scott was awake for the 600 years that he was locked in a tomb. No amount of vampirism or stubbornness can save him from the horrific effects of such sensory deprivation.

“It’s why I… have blue hair, it’s why I paid someone to turn me and it’s why I loved being a vampire.” He said.
“It cured it for you.” Owen realised.
“The power made me feel alive, I could be me.” He stared at the shadows that no longer welcomed him as one of their own, instead it felt like they were closing in on him, preying on his senses and infecting his body.
“I’m surprised you reverted back.” Owen said honestly. “I didn’t regain the disease on my skin after being cured.”
Scott glanced at him. “You said your skin was irritated.”
“Well yeah, but it’s nothing like what I dealt with before.” He said.]---

Summary
Vampires are a category of Fae creature which are Unseelie and thus are bound by specific and strange rules, but to differing extents. Turned Vampires - Vampires who were once fully human - are not true Fae. Dhampirs and Upyirs, however, are both true Fae and are thus bound by all laws of the Faerie. Upon their true deaths they will not leave behind bodies, instead turning to ash and smoke.
Or: The one in which Scott Goldsmith is a Dhampir - half-human, half-Vampire, and all ancient evil. This suits him quite well - it's been over a thousand years since he's remembered what mortality was like. And then he awakens to a world changed and fledglings that call him friend. And just maybe he can admit that it's nice to feel truly loved, instead of feared.
But once Unseelie, always Unseelie...right?
If only these strange, annoying beacons hadn't been placed in a suspiciously perfect circle around his castle. Where had they come from, anyway?

Scott sat up groggily. He clutched his hands to his chest and groaned softly, trying to convince his eyes to focus. His fingers checked over the many adornments on him, his bracelets, his ring.
His castle was in ruins.
It had once been the grandest place on the horizon, gilded and gleaming in the starlight when he’d sat upon a throne of gold and had fresh blood served to him in the finest crystal glasses, still hot, freshly drained from willing veins in sacrifice, in near-worship.
What an irony that they had been worshipping him.

Summary
Sometimes Scott woke up and immediately knew it was going to be a bad day. Even without moving the ache was burning under his skin and draining his energy away. On days like this he normally laid as still as possible, waited until one of his boyfriends woke up and noticed his pain, soothing him with their presence and helping him with the basic tasks which felt like unscalable mountains when he was like this.
On other days, it wasn't so simple.
Some days he woke up and he felt fine. He climbed out of bed - carefully, even when he wasn't flaring up he was still a bit delicate - and headed downstairs to make his boyfriends breakfast. He would dance around the kitchen and make plans for how he wanted to spend his day.
The pain would creep up on him.

Summary
That’s the thing about a domain. A deity will always be connected to what they represent. For some, it was an aura, a spreading feeling all around them, reminiscent of an old memory that was long lost to the void. Some are personifications of their domains, whether by body or mind. And some just had Knowledge of what they were, as if their mind held the answers from the future, present and past. Scott was one of these gods. While some of his friends jokingly called him a good luck charm, he really didn’t strongly affect people around him - not nearly like some of the other gods. His major ability as a god was to know the result of any and all games, small or big.
His domain was of the winners and champions, of games and competitions, of teams, strategies and adrenaline. And what he could know was the victors.or
Scott knows who will win each game. He tries to make sure it works out the best for everyone.
