“Raph… Where is this coming from? What the hell are you talking about?”Raphael knows what he's good for. He also knows it's gonna kill him eventually- the only question is when and how. His brothers really don't seem to like that. He can't imagine why.

Raphael pulled a face, but they both quieted down. Ooh. Leo would have to steal that trick. Maybe it’d work better than the tears that he usually resorted to when the guys got like this. Not that it worked very well.

"Liar," Raph said in a sing-song voice- holding tighter onto Mikey and Donnie when he spotted his shell. "...Ah, damn. Your shells look like those Picasso paintings."
"As if your shell is very pretty at the moment." Donnie huffed. And cringed at the sight of Mikey's eyes. "Dude."
"Mhhfff." If he said something, it was muffled by Raph's shoulder.
"Hey- uhm. Turtle dudes?" The four glanced up when they heard one of the humans who helped Splinter speak, awkwardly rubbing the back of their neck. "You need a hospital- a vet? Those injuries can't be good."

A fragile, bleating thing, lost in some vast concrete hell. He’d tried to stay still and quiet like a Good Boy, he really had, but the Guards found him anyway- like sharks scenting the blood, they’d swarmed him, staring at him in shock horror awe.
