Then add to that all the mistakes we make with our words, actions and choices. Being alive is a lot of work. Why do we do it? Why put up with all the pain and suffering? Maybe there are just enough good moments to make it worthwhile. Maybe we just accept that living is suffering. Maybe we are still optimistic enough to hope it gets better. Or, maybe our subconscious knows there is something better coming our way.
Why are we here?This is the story of two people who are living successful lives but are not really alive until their world's collide.

She crawled back towards him slowly, an inch at a time, still resting on her knuckles as she moved with constant hesitation. When she reached him again, she stretched out one hand and poked his arm, his chest, his hip.
He had the strangest inclination that she was testing to see if he was worth killing for food.
