Summary
“What the heck?”
“Heck? Heck?! You’re the writer here, you have to know a word better than heck—”
“Shh. I’m tryin’ to take this in.”
Brown eyes, straight nose, skin speckled with moles. A head of dark waves that Techno knew were a nightmare to brush and even worse to accept pink dye each month. How strange it was to see his own visage with lips curled into song, hands cradling a guitar, in a place so far away while they’d also never been closer.
Technoblade was an only child.
They key word here is “was”.

Summary
“My dad’s in town." Tommy’s voice is thick with frustration, “Came by my place when I was out. Left a note. He wants to meet.” He spits the words out bitterly. Suddenly things make a whole lot more sense to Phil.
“Oh.”
Phil isn't Tommy's dad. Really—he isn't. That doesn't stop unexpected paternal feelings rising in him when Tommy asks for his support as he reunites with his biological father.

Summary
Phil stands on the grass for a few moments, looking up at the cottage’s highest-up window expectantly. Behind it, the sky is painted a picturesque blue. The world stands still as he waits; the clouds inching by at the pace of a snail. And then, like a bear emerging from its cave after a long hibernation, Techno peeks his head out from the window, squinting tiredly with a fantastic bedhead, before finding Phil’s gaze and smiling at him.
That smile makes Phil feel warmer than a thousand summer suns ever could. Out of all the delights spring brings, the return of his best friend is the greatest.
Phil and Technoblade embrace the warm weather and all the fun that comes with it.

Summary
“What do you want to tell her?” Phil’s grand black wings are sprawled out behind him on the green woven blankets and brown fur hides laid out to insulate the cottage from the Antarctic’s deathly chill. There is no one else in the world who can be framed in the colours of the earth and have them suit them so. There is no one else Techno trusts to each him an ancient tongue.
There's so much Technoblade wants to say to his mother. Too much to be expressed in his very limited understanding of the Piglin language.
Phil helps him find the perfect word to express himself.

Summary
Ranboo was seventeen years old and, like most kids his age, almost completely uninterested in school. Why would he waste time on frivolous equations and painstakingly boring books when the Syndicate existed? The moment he bought that first CD, he was hooked. Music became his life. His bedroom wall filled with icon-esque posters was a shrine devoted to them, their albums were his bible; Ranboo a devoted follower. And out of the Syndicate's four members, Wilbur Soot was by far his favourite.
The Syndicate is the world's biggest rock band. Ranboo is just one fan in an ocean of millions, but he knows that no one loves bassist Wilbur Soot as much as him. Without Wilbur's talents, he would never have found his own passion for music.
When Wilbur joins the 27 Club, Ranboo is devastated. How will the world ever know how much he appreciated him? He becomes determined to show his gratefulness in the only way he can now: by becoming the Syndicate's new bass player.

Summary
Ranboo knew that he’d do anything for Techno’s guidance. The language Techno used in conversation was inspiringly intricate and incredibly beautiful. He read ancient military strategies and tactfully employed them to stay supreme at DSMP High. Rumour even had it that he’d been banned from the creative writing club because his fiction stories were so beautiful they made the club cry. Technoblade was a genius and Ranboo would take any opportunity to learn from him.
Technoblade helps Ranboo cram for an English test. They are joined by Pinkie, Technoblade's exuberant little sister.

Summary
“Look, Techno, I’m really sorry. I’m sorry. I’ve just had a hard time focusing here.”
Niki gave his cheek a gentle pat. Her eyes were filled with nothing but unapologetic affection. “Is it something about the room? Maybe the darkness is making you feel sleepy.”
Ranboo frowned. It wasn’t as if he was sleepy. He just found himself getting lost in the calm wooshing noises coming from the portal. “No, no, it’s not the room, it’s me. I’ll sort it out before the next meeting, I promise.”
“It is the room.” Phil’s voice was low. When he spoke like this, all heads turned to him, ready to be bestowed with ancient wisdom that only an immortal man could deliver. Ranboo followed his focused gaze to the very table they were all sitting at. “It’s the table.”
The Syndicate realise that there's more to their meeting room table than meets the eye.

Summary
“Hey, nerd.”
Ranboo froze in his tracks. His head lowered submissively, he turned around to Technoblade and Phil.
Techno’s voice was low and rough. He commanded the same thing he had every other time their paths had crossed: “Join the Syndicate.”
“N-No!”
Ranboo is a new student at DSMP High. All he wants is to keep his head down, stay out of trouble and maybe even find some time to read. So why have Technoblade, Phil and Niki decided that he's the perfect candidate to join their secret syndicate? What even is the Syndicate, anyway?

Summary
“I saw it. I saw it in the future— I was there.” Karl ran a trembling hand through his brown hair. His eyes darted around the cottage interior as his chest heaved. “I was there, Techno. I saw it all. I saw the deaths, I saw the killings, I saw you. I—” His eyes settled on Techno. His pupils were dilated infinitely.
“Technoblade.” He spoke like a man possessed, “The first to land on the beaches of L’Manberg shall be the first to die.”
Obsession takes a hold of Technoblade after Karl Jacobs delivers a prophecy that puts his best friend in mortal danger.[inspired by Technoblade's March 6th stream and the legend of Protesilaus]

Summary
“The great philosophers posed the question: if over time every part of the ship was gradually replaced with new wood, was it still Theseus’ ship? Or was it an entirely new vessel? After thousands of years, there’s still no decisive answer.”
They fell back into silence. Tommy frowned slightly at Techno. “You’re saying that I’m a different person now?”
After being retrieved from Pandora's Vault, Tommy is confronted with how his trauma affects his sense of identity. Technoblade—ever the nerd—introduces an ancient Greek philosophical puzzle to provide some clarity.
