Post-Sonic Prime. Local traumatized hedgehogs become friends, get adopted by more friends, kick butt. There’s also multidimensional peril, fetch quests, and a pigeon. In this first act, Sonic struggles to come to terms with what happened in the Shatterverse, accidentally bonds with Shadow, and worries all of his friends. Then, a Void crystal falls from the sky, and someone sends a message through the Paradox Prism. Tails seems confident he can figure out what's up. He just needs some stuff from a robotic parts trader in Seashell Town. Sonic would've appreciated a heads-up about the bandit problem, but he'll deal.
Written during the Sonic The Hedgehog Big Bang 2024.

After Azure Lion was defeated, everything seemed normal. Sun Wukong and his monkeys had moved to a mountain near Megapolis for the time being, and Macaque would pop up every now and then. They were back to their Monster of the Week adventures.
MK, being MK, decides to go try out some food from a nearby food truck. Of course, the food ends up being cursed, and he goes into a feral, primitive state. The bad thing is that this also makes him revert to his monkey form.

After defeating the Lady Bone Demon, life in Megapolis has returned to normal. However, for one lonely ex-assassin, adjusting to a peaceful lifestyle has been difficult. Centuries spent lurking in the shadows, hunting those that have hunted him, and running from his past has left the Six-Eared Macaque wary of starting a new life.
Despite that, he finds himself in the presence of an an old friend and a new ally.
Even after everything he did, MK wants Macaque to co-mentor him alongside Sun Wukong, the Monkey King. For what reason? Macaque isn't sure, but he knows that this has got to be the worst idea that kid could ever have.
