Sam was finally done. All these accusations from his brother, the angels, the other hunters and humans in general. He wasn’t responsible for this mess; not completely, at least, but to everyone else, Sam had brought the Apocalypse over the world.
Everybody has a breaking point and Sam had finally reached his. After the last fight with his brother, Sam had left because he wouldn’t allow Dean to lock him up again because his brother thought he knew better than Sam.
Not anymore. Sam had a goal: Detroit. Sam was going to Detroit like he was told he would do and he would do what everyone feared him for; he was on his way to meet the Devil.
And together…together they would make it rain fire while Death walked the streets.

Summary
An AU series that picks up at the Season 9 mid-season hiatus, following 9:9 Holy Terror.
The Opposite of Fall is about what happens after Sam walks out of the bunker, possessed by Gadreel, and what sacrifices need to be made to set the world to rights. Unfortunately, in taking certain paths, new problems are being created - the world is heading down the path to a different sort of apocalypse, but no one seems to realize it.
Stretch and Glide is mostly a pornographic interlude with a little bit of fluff.
Will We Fly? explores the changing relationship between Gadreel and the Winchesters, as well as Sam's struggles with loving someone in a male body when he himself identifies as straight.
Long Tran Running kicks off an alternate season 10! All fics after will be following an episode-style format, and will have both a part in the larger "season" story arc (which focuses on the continuing angelic war as well as freeing the angels trapped in Hell) and a self-contained narrative. I don't know if it will make it to a 22 part story, but I will try to make it a good, well-rounded series. :)

Dean's eyes widened once again and he spoke to the void where Cas' voice came from. "So you need a new meat suit then?" There was no hint of sarcasm in his voice as the whole realization of what was happening processed in his mind. He heard Cas pause and sigh softly. How a celestial wavelength could sigh was not something he wanted to dwell on right at the moment.
"I don't have much time. They're already closing in on my location and I don't have time to find a person willing to give themselves up for me. Dean, I need..." He heard Cas hesitate again, "I need you to allow me to possess you. Please?"
Dean's heart raced quicker and he let out a small breath. "Me?" was all his voice could muster.

He felt numb and his brain was going crazy trying to feel things they way it normally does, yet being forced to acknowledge these other emotions along with a whole new presence all at once.

Sam started the car and looked at him with a half smile as they drove off. "So you're like Dr. Jekyll now, huh?" Dean rolled his eyes and scoffed, but he also felt a slight feeling of confusion that he had to remind himself wasn't his."It's from a movie, Cas," Dean said out loud causing Sam to grin wider. He imagined Cas tilting his head in befuddlement at the reference.
"It was originally a book," Sam corrected as he drove.
"Nerd," Dean muttered, knowing Sam could hear him.
"Hey Cas," Sam asked, changing the subject and addressing the angel, "how ya holding up in there?"
Dean didn't reply immediately. May I reply to Sam? he heard in his head.
Cas. You don't have to ask every time, man. Just say hey I'm gonna answer him. Well, think it to me. Urg, you know what I mean!
Okay, Cas thought to him. Dean, I'm going to answer him now.
God, this is so fucking weird, Dean thought to himself but forgetting to think it less strongly so Cas wouldn't pick up on it. Sorry! Sorry. Okay whatever. You can talk.

Summary
In a reality where Sam died while shutting down Hell, where Castiel locked himself and the other angels in Heaven, and where the monsters mostly keep their noses clean, it doesn’t take long for Dean to come to the conclusion that he has no purpose anymore.
With no way to get Sam, or Cas, or even Bobby back – he tried, even Death won’t answer his calls anymore – all Dean wants is to die. Since ending his own life might just send him back to Hell, then he’ll make sure he too gets some kind of sweet ever after before he dies.
