[POST SEASON 2]
The group has been separated so they're seeking to reunite. Split into three groups of two, they face different circumstances.
Logan and Taylor are trapped in the place they thought they had escaped with their familys' lives hanging over them like puppet strings, keeping them compliant.
Tyler and Aiden are on the run, haunted by dreams they can't dissect while trying to figure each other out, Aiden having tied a web of lies and Tylers worry for his sister growing like an unstoppable force.
Ben and Ashlyn are also on the run, the group having gone radio silent on them. No matter where they go, danger follows them, causing them to get their hands bloody in more than one way.
On the flipside, they're all being chased by familiar bodies that they have strange connections to while having to adapt to the new set of rules and laws of the Phantom Realm.
The path to New York is more than just bumpy, it's treacherous… and is it even the right way to go?

Thorin sighs and his hand finally pulls away from Bilbo’s hair.Bilbo stares at his face and only just manages not to whine at the loss of warmth. (“It was the injury talking. Not me” he tells himself) close. Too close.
Then the words register and the hobbit sputters because how dare Thorin act as if Bilbo was being unreasonable.
“You left me.” The face Thorin makes is almost effective enough to make Bilbo cower.
“You left, Bilbo. In the dead of night. For food.”
“I was hungry.” Bilbo does what he never thought he’d be able to without thinking of his father’s disappointed eyebrow— he grumbles.
“I would’ve come if you had asked.” Thorin answers gruffly. This time he actually sounds offended. Thorin Oakenshield. Offended because Bilbo did not allow him to partake in a side quest for midnight snacks.

Instead of Shane, it is Ilya who suffers a concussion during the Boston-Montreal game in April 2017. Dazed and agitated, Ilya briefly starts speaking and responding only in Russian and the medics can’t calm him down. Luckily, Shane started studying Russian after Ilya spoke to him in Russian on the phone from Moscow. For no particular reason. Certainly not because he’s fallen in love with Ilya Rozanov.
In Montreal with lingering concussion symptoms, Ilya is advised not to fly home for a few days, and the hospital won’t release him without assurances that he has someone to stay with him until his symptoms improve. Luckily, Shane conveniently has a condo in Montreal no one knows about and a few days before he has to travel again.
But Ilya’s symptoms don’t resolve after a few days. Which is okay; Shane can handle it. He can take care of Ilya, study Russian, lead his team into the playoffs, and keep Ilya’s continued presence in Montreal a secret. He can do everything, no problem. He is Shane Hollander after all.

Douxie learned early on that Merlin’s footsteps sounded different when he was angry.
When he was deep in thought, they were uncertain. One step faster, one slower like he was listening to something only he could hear. When he was worried, he didn’t walk, he ran. Now, they were sharp, boots hitting the floor as Douxie heard Merlin approach the door.
Not good.
Douxie was lying curled in a ball near the fireplace in Morgana’s room, where she’d tended to his wounds, wrapped him in a blanket and gone to fetch his master after finding him crumpled in an alleyway in the marketplace, covered in blood.
Stupid guards, always sticking their noses where they didn’t belong.

Douxie WAS trying to help, but all his 'just helping' lands him lying by the fireplace in Morgana's room with a concussion and a gash in his side.
