While talking to Scorpius about these marks on his wand, Draco realises that his son has been struggling a lot more than he’s let on.
Basically, Draco talks to both Albus and Scorpius about the impressions on Scorpius’ wand, while Albus and Scorpius confront their relationship and talk about the lasting marks they've left on one another (and on their wands).
