Picking up right where we left off in He Can Be Strong For Someone Else - Act 2.
Kirkwall is as hard to stomach as ever even though things have calmed down some.
All Cullen can do is the best he can. Try to uphold his duty and his conscience and straddle the gap between the two.
The thing is...lines are beginning to blur. All kinds of lines, not just between mages and templars or demons and magic.
He's still possessed, he still has nightmares, he still can't sleep. But maybe he's learning from all of this.Once again I state that I am being very fast and loose with the timeline here, so things can move and shift a bit to match up with the course of events for the story. Nothing is concrete except the scenes that have been detailed and if I come up with more scenes to add, they’ll come as new posts outside of each Act. I have thought of a few already.

- In The Bleak MidwinterSebastian knows what it's like to spend the holidays missing those you love who are no longer with you. He doesn't want that for Hawke, and so he offers to spend Wintersend with her. A perfect plan, complicated by Mother Elthina volunteering him to chaperone a skiing trip. He is surprised when Elthina offers to let Hawke go along as well, having mistaken them for a couple.
Surely Hawke and Sebastian can make it through a few days in the mountains together without incident, both of them struggling with how badly they want Elthina's mistake to be reality.

Read 4-8-2022 - Excellent fic featuring the Arishok and Hawke who eventually leaves Kirkwall to join the Qun in Quandahar. First time I've read a fic that had this ending, and one where the Arishok and Hawke were able to stay together even though the Qun doesn't allow it. If you love this pairing, and a very different ending to the norm, then this is for you.
