Dream squints, looking at him. And through him. George sighs.
“Sorry,” Dream says. “Maybe. That’s usually next.”
“You really do meet a lot of ghosts?”
Dream snorts. “So many. I’m like a ghost magnet or something.”

Dream is a wandering knight hired by his old friend and guildmate Sapnap, to investigate the mysterious death of Kinoko Kingdom's former prince, George. But, Dream has a secret that not even Sapnap knows. He can see ghosts, and George's won't stop talking about everything except the details of his death.
Can Dream unravel the mystery of George's murder and reconcile the distance that he put between him and Sapnap? He never had an interest in the ghosts he could see before, so why is George so different?

“Ah, yes, because you’re so terrifying.” Sapnap mocks him with a smile of his own. Despite his outward show of confidence, Sapnap finds himself twisting that ring again. It’s a comfort on his finger, just slightly heavy and cool from the chill of the weather. A tiny bit of himself feels bad that he just took it where he found it rather than looking for a rightful owner or something, but it just feels so right on his hand. Like it was meant to be there. Sapnap doesn’t really believe in things like that, but if he did he might even call it fate. Dream would probably laugh at him if he ever said that, though. So he won’t.
George just gives him another shrug. “I guess that depends on what you find menacing.”
They reach the Southern gate and George pauses in place. Sapnap takes a step toward it before twisting to George again. His lips curl up and he waves his hand. “I’ll catch you later, George.”
“I’m sure you will.” George waves back to him. Creases sink around his cheeks and eyes as he smiles. He’s got a gorgeous smile.

Plagued by drama and worsening mental health, Dream finally decides enough is enough and leaves town. He rents a small house far enough away from home to make him feel at ease but close enough to give him the option of crawling back at any time. The house he moves into isn't exactly his dream home, in fact you could say it was a bit of a fixer-upper, but it's quiet and that's enough. Little does he know that the home is haunted by a young man about his age... too bad he doesn't believe in ghosts.

In the world of Abilities everything is not great, but it’s not terrible at the same time, His goal is to eventually move out and away from his shitty the north and into the west of the city.
But he didn’t have any money, and it was too dangerous in the sourh and west to live by himself, plus he didn’t have time to do all these things while actively spiteing his family by being a vigilante and actually living his life,
He’ll be fine, he’s stubborn enough to make it this far it’s all bound to work out.
Also why is everyone in the west so weird? The south is even weirder. Or maybe he was the weird one?

George smiled sarcastically, “There ya go! I knew you could do it.”

His name is George. I’m not sure how I know because he’s never spoken to me, but for as long as he’s been following me around, I’ve known. He has dark brown hair, oak eyes, and fair skin. His face is covered in faint freckles, although they’re difficult to see. He’s probably the most beautiful person (ghost?) I’ve ever seen.
