Sapnap's parents were killed overseas by the void kingdom of Sola, ruled by the faceless rulers and one strange hybrid Prince..ss? Ruler? Causing commotion to the two kingdom.
The fire kingdom of Solaris has no true ruler, only a 13 year old, who was giving the scar of the flare, which is one of the most dangerous. And it was in the hands of a child, sapnap. Clearly bad idea.
Fear is running through all the places, the three moons and sun are going to meet in the sky. Wars are likely. And we are all fucked :)

“Ah, yes, because you’re so terrifying.” Sapnap mocks him with a smile of his own. Despite his outward show of confidence, Sapnap finds himself twisting that ring again. It’s a comfort on his finger, just slightly heavy and cool from the chill of the weather. A tiny bit of himself feels bad that he just took it where he found it rather than looking for a rightful owner or something, but it just feels so right on his hand. Like it was meant to be there. Sapnap doesn’t really believe in things like that, but if he did he might even call it fate. Dream would probably laugh at him if he ever said that, though. So he won’t.
George just gives him another shrug. “I guess that depends on what you find menacing.”
They reach the Southern gate and George pauses in place. Sapnap takes a step toward it before twisting to George again. His lips curl up and he waves his hand. “I’ll catch you later, George.”
“I’m sure you will.” George waves back to him. Creases sink around his cheeks and eyes as he smiles. He’s got a gorgeous smile.

But he didn’t have any money, and it was too dangerous in the sourh and west to live by himself, plus he didn’t have time to do all these things while actively spiteing his family by being a vigilante and actually living his life,
He’ll be fine, he’s stubborn enough to make it this far it’s all bound to work out.
Also why is everyone in the west so weird? The south is even weirder. Or maybe he was the weird one?
