Summary
( I have this fic labelled as LokixCharles, and while that isn’t innacurate, this is a story focused predominantly on the bigger picture of Loki, Charles, and the X-Men’s life. As of when I am writing this summary, I have 15,000+ words written and there is basically nothing romance or sex related mentioned. This is a warm and fuzzy, angst, hurt+comfort, redemption, and found-family fic. The label just felt the most accurate since the main characters of the fic are Charles and Loki, and they are going to slowly fall in love. Very slowly. I felt it would be deceptive to label it otherwise, incase someone hates the pairing.)
Charles Xavier is changing, or at least, he's trying to.
On Charles’ path to make amends, Loki's rise began, and he felt the need to step in.
The Professor was able to convince the Avengers to hand Loki over because he has his own mini-prison under the mansion.
Is Loki actually going to change, or is he going to use his advanced manipulation skills to make a convincing enough facade to escape?
(AU : This fic takes place in 1995, a couple years after the events of X-Men Dark Phoenix.)

Kibo is also going through some stuff, which is somewhat similar to Loki's problem.

What if instead of Thor being banished to Midguard it was Loki?
Loki's ploy to overthrow his own brother was uncovered by the all-seeing eyes of Heimdall during the grand Asgardian coronation ceremony. Consumed by a wrathful fury, the ruler of the Nine Realms, and Loki’s presumed father, Odin, meted out a cruel punishment and banished the trickster god to the lowly realm of Midgard, forcing him to live amongst the very mortals he so deeply loathed.
Stripped of his godly powers, reduced to mere illusions and parlor tricks, Loki found himself trapped in a waking nightmare. Filled with rage, Loki began plotting his revenge against his alleged family. He wouldn’t let anything get in the way of his wrath, no matter the cost.

Summary
When the Chitauri tear open his ribcage for the umpteenth time, Loki's body suddenly shifts to its natural state. The sub-zero temperature of Jotun flesh flash-freezes his torturers, and Loki thinks for a moment that that's the end of it — they can't hurt him anymore if they can barely stand near him without catching frostbite.
But Thanos is persistent and the Chitauri obediently self-destructive, and Loki learns it can always (and will always) get much, much worse.

Thor retourne sur Midgard hanté par ses cauchemars. C'est chez Jane qu'il cherche réconfort mais en vain, ses songes le harcèlent toujours autant. Alors qu'elle s'absente en Amérique le laissant seul, Thor reçoit un visiteur nocturne qui lui est peut-être trop familier. Mais les choses ne semblent pas aussi roses qu'il n'y parait.
