Summary
Passing through the names of the candidates, Cucurucho was trying to find a way on how to take the candidate out of the election. Felps could easily be killed and taken into one of the cells of the federation, and same for Mike. BadBoyHalo was a bit tougher. He was a great fighter after all, but he could not stand against one or maybe two codes alone. Forever was playing it safe, so he was not leaving his secure home. Maybe they could find a way to lure him out and then attack him, it could work.
Now there was only one candidate left, Étoiles. Now, Étoiles was a little bit of a special case. Having survived three attacks of the code in the same week: at the diner, in the desert with that one buffed mob and in the plaine with the two codes, The federation was never successful at killing him and it was now way beyond frustrating.

“It’s in better shape than I thought it would be,” Cellbit said, coming to stand next to her. Roier was having a very loud and animated discussion with Missa.
“I know,” Bagi said. She leaned over just far enough for their shoulders to bump together.
“What’s the objective?”
“Just to find out more,” Bagi said, “that’s why I wanted to come alone. I want to know what happened to those children, but it’s been a couple decades. Most of the clues will have been destroyed. And there’s a good chance this Bad person is dead too.”
Cellbit nodded. He crossed his arms over his chest. Bagi fiddled with her necklace and the ring that hung from it as she waited for her little brother to say something.
He was content to be quiet, though. Bagi closed her eyes. Under Missa and Roier’s loud voices, and Philza’s occasional dry comment, she could hear birds singing in the trees. She could hear the wind blowing through the trees and through the plants that surrounding them. Somewhere, a dog or wolf or something barked. In front of them, the mansion made no sound.

All the drawings people have made may be nice, but they don’t seem to actually live up to the man himself.”

Summary
Pomme is five when her mother gives her up. Eight when she's moved to America. Ten when she's given up, again. And at the age of twelve, with no one to miss her and no home left to miss, Pomme is abducted by aliens. It's written in the stars, it seems, that Pomme is meant to end up scared alone with no place in the universe.
Pomme waits and waits for the door to her cell open and the aliens to finish whatever it is that they've started... but when the door finally opens, it's not the violent end she imagined. Instead, a new alien is dumped into the cell with her and the door is slammed in its face.
