Summary
Sky is pretty sure he and Hyrule have something in common, something no one else in the chain can quite relate to. Hoping to not feel quite so alone, he brings it up during a patrol. As he and Hyrule talk it out, they find comfort in each others words.
But their revelation isn't exactly something the rest of the chain can comprehend. Mostly because Sky and Hyrule decided to explain it in the most confusing way possible.or
There are two things of which Warriors was sure. The first was that Sky was as loving as he projected, showering everyone he knew with genuine affection. The second was that a part of Sky, and he wasn't sure how large that part was, wanted to watch the world burn.

Summary
The heroes have stumbled into many new and unfamiliar eras, and while this one may be stranger than most, it's nothing new. What's new is the blonde girl who drags them out of danger and warns them away from hurting her beloved.
(Or: How they might have met Sky)Then something dodges, ducking under his sword with a hiss, and he staggers back into Time, his face draining of blood as he takes in dusky skin and blonde hair and blue-green eyes. He almost—his stomach threatens to rebel, and he buries that thought to deal with later. She dodged, that's what matters.
The girl's ears twitch a few times in rapid succession, her brow furrowing, but she doesn't look angry—only surprised. She opens her mouth, then stops abruptly, shoulders tensing.
Her hand flashes out and Hyrule flinches as she rips his sword out of his shock-slackened grip; her skirts flare out as she spins sharply on her heel and slashes her stolen sword, blood and iron gleaming in the faint light as she cuts down one of those bokoblins.

Lovely characterization of Zelda, and an interesting interpretation of being both a mortal and a goddess simultaneously! I also love the insights to the hurts Hyrule has / the things he doesn’t understand due to his world.

“We're too late,” Sky croaks, voice dry.
“There's more to do,” Warriors responds. His voice is kind, strangely so. “We can still save a lot of people.”
It hits Sky, then, that this is what Warriors deals with on a near regular basis. He's an army captain. Sky's seen the memorials in the man's era. He's seen the casualty counts. He'd just never realized the magnitude of each number engraved into stone, usually four or, occasionally, five digits long. Both civilian and military casualties.
He tries to imagine ten thousand people. His head spins.
Five instances – some serious, some funny – of Warriors being seen through Sky's eyes.

Summary
Sky knew that he wasn’t going to be able to keep up with everybody else for much longer if he continued at his rate. He could feel the blisters and blood on his feet and how his legs shook with each step. But… it wasn’t like he could stop, either. Stopping would mean slowing down the whole group. It would mean burdening them.
So he kept pushing forward and somehow managed to completely tune out the pain, instead focusing on keeping his legs moving at a steady pace.-
Or,
Sky pushes his limits a bit too far.

When Sky bumps into an enemy he thought destroyed long ago, he’s faced with a dilemma.
“Sky held the sword in front of him, its ethereal blue glow lighting the trees around him and attracting small bugs, flying into the glow and landing on the cold steel. Sky looked down at them and flashed a small smile, trying not to think about how many of their bug brothers and sisters he sacrificed to Luv for more potent potions. He was quickly snapped out of his procrastination by the sound of breaking glass and condescending laughter. A flash of platinum hair and a red cape. White lipstick smeared across lips pulled into a taut smile. Pearlescent teeth shining in the glow of a sacred sword.”

The demon opened his mouth to talk. Sky cringed and prayed to Hylia that god awful tongue wouldn’t be making a surprise appearance. “Oh how I’ve missed your positively irksome face Sky child.”Sky looked at him blankly.
The demon stared right back, brown eyes turned black in the little light, staring through the hero. “Still no thoughts behind those dopey eyes I see.”

“You will do no such-“ Sky was cut off by the demon, now stood in front of him. In front of him and not in the sword where he should be. Sky groaned, long and suffering. “What did i do in a past life to deserve this.”

“But back to the topic at hand, he called my blade garish. Garish Skychild.”Sky tried to hide his smile, being instantly transported back into the memory of the inns food hall that took place just a few hours beforehand.

Sky slid Ghirahims sword slightly out of the sheath, just for the comforting pulse of the metal against his calloused hands. He was fairly sure Ghirahim was meditating currently and wouldn’t be able to tell anyway, so it wasn’t like he could be embarrassed by it. Not that Ghirahim wouldn’t jump at the chance to embarrass him, he most definitely would, but this way he wouldn’t have the chance.“Are you cradling me right now?”. Perhaps Ghirahim would have the chance. Sky flicked the blade in annoyance, a habit he was becoming quite fond of doing, and between the two of them was now universally accepted as ‘Ghirahim please shut up’.

Sky grinned, patting his now dry clothes in amazement. “Thanks Gigi, that was one of the coolest things i’ve ever seen.”“What did I say about calling me Gigi.”

“See I knew you’d find it-“ Ghirahim raised a gloved hand, a clear request for Sky to stop speaking, it was probably the politest way he’d asked for Sky to shut up.“I think that may be the nicest act anyone has ever performed for me.”
Skys eyes softened as he took in the slightly slouched posture of the sword spirit, a vast difference in comparison to his usually rigid and graceful composure. Sometimes Sky forgot that working under a master like Demise, Ghirahim wouldn’t have been shown any empathy or compassion, Hylia it was even apparent to Sky from the little he saw them interact. He slowly approached Ghirahim and perched himself on the small bed next to the other, gently placing a hand on the demons back.

A cave-in ensured that there would be no escape from where they first entered the underground system. Hours of searching the inside of the tunnels have bore no fruit. It was only Wolfie's appearance from the outside world that assured the group that there was indeed a way out. A way out - through a tiny crack in the wall.
A very tiny crack.
Or, The chain goes spelunking and Sky hates every minute of it. But at least they get to see some pretty caves.

A short blue-and-red man came out of the bushes, observing the two Links with a critical eye, followed by a nervous man in green and blue, a bit taller than the first, but with similar enough traits that Link could tell they were relatives. Probably siblings.
Two women followed, one with blonde hair, blue eyes, and a pink tank top and shorts, and a girl with reddish-brown hair dressed in bright orange.
"Sorry, what?" the two boys asked.
The red-and-blue man hummed in thought. "Yes," he agreed with the little yellow thing. He had a thick accent of some sort, and Link had to strain to make out any words. "They did come." He turned to the Links. "We were wondering. Can either of you, ah, drive?"
....
Imagine if Wild and Sky knew each other already because of MarioKart. Wait, no. That's silly and crazy and obviously could never happen.

But then two of their own show up at the Hyrule Hospital ER, needing a different kind of crisis care: Sky's history of depression comes back with a vengeance, and Wild's amnesia takes a turn for the strange. These psychiatric emergencies are far outside of the Chain's expertise, but that won't stop them from getting their friends the help they need.
