Summary
Legend had one job the second time he was dragged on a quest that involved time travel and ancestors, and the second time a quest involved meeting other heroes: Don't get attached.
Thankfully, the other heroes seemed to believe the mask he wore, and most of them didn't bother with him as a result except to argue, especially Twilight and Warriors. Now, if only someone could tell the kid behind the mask to stop reaching out to the brothers he lost after Hytopia, that would be great.
And if they could stop the pouring, frigid rain so Legend wouldn't get even sicker, that would also be great.

Summary
Twilight knew Wild. This is an unchangeable fact of the universe, as is Twilight's fathomless, unchangable determination to know him again.
This unlimited determination may not be necessary--Wild is at his core, remarkably, the same person he was before he was ripped away from the Chain.
Twilight doesn't quite understand exactly what that means until Wild starts juggling a scythe made from monster remains. Things rapidly spiral from there.
And, unluckily for poor Twi, it seems like they just keep falling deeper and deeper into the depths of incomprehensible lunacy.
OR
The Chain discovers Ultrahand. There is a wide range of reactions to this. Poor Twilight.
And then, then I subvert all expectations by adding something vaguely resembling plot into this madness.

Twilight turned, breaking his view on Wild. Wild grabbed Jasper's arm. "Now. Let's go!" With an excited giggle, they ran, dodging and weaving. Outside, Jasper gasped. "We just ditched your brothers."
Wild tugged on his arm. "Not yet! They're fast!"
They didn't run far to the town well. At night, the street was empty. Jasper leaned against the stones. "... I suppose you're going to ask where the sacred forest is." Wild jerked. "Yeah, a beautiful woman wanting to talk to me and not want something in return? Too good to be true," he said, handing a paper over.
"Zelda, promise me you'll be careful," Jasper leaned in, giving Wild a peck on the cheek. "Goodnight."
With that, Jasper walked into the night. Wild was suddenly and violently tugged backwards and downwards, into darkness.
The morning was interrupted by loud banging. Jasper was startled to see Zelda's brothers forcing their way in. The one leading the charge had a cold deadliness in his expression.
Zelda was not with them.
OR: Wild goes missing, snatched by the unknown, last seen at an ancient well. When Wild comes to, he discovers buried horrors, forgotten by time.
