Twilight stiffened. There was a chance Twilight misheard him, but as the growing dread filled his chest, he couldn't lie to himself. "What did you say?"
Wild stood up straight, his mouth twisting. Twilight could tell what he said was in the heat of the moment, but as the seconds dragged on, Wild squared his shoulders and repeated in a louder voice, "I wish Zelda had left me to die."
OR: When Wild comes out of his memories, he starts doubting his value, spiraling into the fear that he is burdening the other Heroes. However... Twilight loves this kid with all his heart and refuses to let Wild lose himself to grief—not on his watch.

He gradually finds the first few links, and establishes a brotherly bond between the Links.
Fi seems to be waking up too, unknown to Sky..
Wild’s trauma, love for Zelda, and Survivor’s guilt keeps them feeling depressed as they are thrusted into yet another quest..
Twilight’s pining over two people he misses dearly—despite not even remembering one of them—is keeping him from feeling truly happy at home, craving adventure to escape his depression.
Time thinks his trauma keeps him from being the best mentor he could be—despite evidence otherwise, and the Fierce Deity Mask seems to want something from him..
Wind’s feelings of inadequacy & need to prove himself lead him to dangerous places..
And everyone needs hugs. Badly.
