Even at home, he almost felt invisible — to the point where he had to cook and work for himself just to get what he wanted.One day, he bought chocolate then Sunny went to buy a new comic in his birthday. On the way, he saw his friends together, heading toward their secret spot — with other people. He felt like he was being replaced.
Sunny’s eyes began to tear up a little, but then someone bumped into him from behind.
It was Kim and her group, running from a store after stealing candy.Sunny got a little scared, remembering how Mari once told him not to hang out with people like them. But that didn’t seem to matter anymore, not after Mari had broken her promise to be with him forever.
They hid behind one of the cars, and when Miss Smiley asked Sunny where they went, he pointed in the opposite direction.

Summary
Sunny finally comes clean and tells his friends the truth. About Mari's death, the accident, the help of Basil, and the lie that haunted them for four years. Their last meeting together before Sunny leaves Faraway Town was heartbreaking as the friend group was shattered: Hero's outrage turns into grief, Aubrey's anger turns into sadness, and Kel hit the hardest as tears broke and couldn't hold everyone together anymore. Sunny and Basil may have been free from their guilt of Mari's death, but not without tearing them apart first.
Three years has passed since Sunny left, he is in a boy group called "Superstars" with four other members, Naveen, the leader, main vocalist and producer, Mingyu, the lead vocalist, Adrian, the sub vocalist, main rapper, lead dancer and second producer, and Jonathan, the sub vocalist, lead rapper and main dancer. And Sunny? he's now the lead vocalist, animator, and face of Superstars, and now they are moving to a city called Big City for university with a music and art scholarship.
However, Sunny would eventually cross paths with Kel once again after many years, and old wounds, unresolved problems and old feelings arise again.
