Bakugo had been restricting his eating habits for almost three months now. Only slight changes, so nobody had noticed his change in behaviour. It started with just skipping a portion of a meal or going downstairs too late to eat breakfast but it hadn’t escaped his attention that his avoidance of food and his intake was beginning to- almost unconsciously- get lower and lower, missing whole meals, even refusing the dinners that he helped to make in the dormitory or giving his leftovers to his friends. Somebody was always happy to take a half-full plate off his hands. Katsuki was now used to the constant feeling of dizziness and slight nausea that accompanied his every move, fully aware that the less he ate, the worse it felt. He felt awful but just couldn’t bear the thought of gaining any more weight. He already felt so unfit compared to some of his classmates, the fear of gaining even more eating into him like a worm in a diseased apple.OR

Charlie was bored out of his goddamn mind. He was currently laying starfished on his bed just staring at the ceiling because… well because it's all he could really do.
He'd been out of hospital for about a week now and everything was just shit. He was stuck at home, completely unable to do anything, even his school work. He couldn't watch TV or look at his phone, doctor's orders. The one time he'd tried to check his phone just to see what time it was, he'd had a horrifically painful headache for the next half an hour.
Nick had been the one good thing about this whole debacle. Like clockwork he'd been at Charlie's every single day after school, staying until his mum kicked him out. It'd been the only time Charlie actually had something to take him out of his mind-numbing boredom.

It’s a coloration that starts to form, he doesn’t control his eating, and bad things happen. He slowly finds the patterns he’s been missing and soon it becomes second nature to decline breakfast, to pick apart his lunch, and to shovel food around his dinner plate.
And no one sees it. Noone notices his habits and Charlie takes that as a good thing, that what he’s doing is working and it’s okay. It’s not a problem unless someone sees it and names it. Now it’s just working for him, it’s keeping him and everyone he loves safe and sound. Charlie doesn’t do many things right, but he’s going to do everything he can to protect those who are forced to orbit him.
Nick, in his way, threatens to unravel all of this. Nick watches him a lot. Charlie can feel it and now that they kiss… it’s much harder to keep these secrets buried deep. Nick’s so open and bright and Charlie’s none of that and he’s scared that if he lets out his deep secrets, then Nick will be tarnished too. He can’t risk it, so logically in Charlie’s mind, he tries harder not to eat anything.
It makes sense, somehow, as much as it doesn’t.
