Ronin dangles the knife in his hands in front of your face, giving you the opportunity to claim your stake and become the killer you pretended to be for months. He was giving you the opportunity to take his life, to end this for good.

Summary
In a world where a certain percentage of the population get superpowers when they are born, like your typical movies the world grows, having a heroes system. There are heroes that simply work to keep their cities clean from evil, there are heroes assigned to certain tasks or missions. Everyone got used to this system surprisingly quick!
But of course, not everything in life is sunshine and rainbows (or ice, or fire). As per usual, some people use the blessings they were given for bad.

Your typical superheroes AU with oneshots that will usually focusing on mcyt pairs or more. Pairs can be both platonic and romatic, others depicted as platonic but can be read as romantic if the reader wishes. For extra spice, I made sure to make most of the characters you'd expect to be something the other thing! So kind of a roleswap AU as well. Not entirely, though.
The earlier oneshot can be read individually, but it all follows one storyline, exist in the same world, and sort of connect with each other. It becomes more connected and inseperable the more it goes on.Don't get distracted by the fluff. I warn you.

His eyes were that of a jewel, shining with life, but at the same time housing a certain darkness only someone like Clown could recognize. It shone with a pinkish tint, bright and faint, like a star in the twilight sky. It was blurred against a dull, darker color.

Mane inhaled sharply, his knees knocking and trembling, sending him lurching into a pitiful limp. Everything seemed quite blurry, like someone had taken a paintbrush to a perfectly good canvas and smeared around the color, spattering random white dots wherever they pleased. Not even the sun was able to pierce through the haze he was currently living in, whisked away by his weakly swatting tail.
He wasn’t even quite sure where he was heading. Perhaps it was back to Woogie’s tower, to see if ClownPierce or Kaboodle still remained…or maybe it was just out into random wilderness that called and whispered to his sluggish brain.

Tommy never understood Technoblade’s hatred or Phil’s disdain for Techno’s voices. Wilbur never liked to talk about them either and would sometimes get mean if Tommy asked, so he learned to be quiet. They all hated them, the voices Technoblade had. Wilbur hated them because they took Techno away on long trips with their dad and they’d always be gone for so long. They both said they couldn’t help it but Tommy thought they were lying. Why would the voices make Technoblade and Phil leave them behind? It didn’t make sense. After all, his voices didn’t make him leave Wilbur.
