2) A certain voice actor by the pseudonym Jay, who makes “spicy” audios.
Regulus has always known the universe to have a sick sense of humour but he didn’t know it was this cruel. He’d recognize that voice anywhere. To Regulus’s shock and abject horror, James Potter is Jay, there’s no doubt about it.

“This would be over if she had minded her damn business while we chatted with Munson here.” Andy didn’t sound as sure anymore. Good.
“I will fucking bury you,” he said with a nod. “I’m going to put you so far into the ground, you’ll be shitting dirt until you’re 80. Do you have anything to say before then?”

the dead boy detectives have spent thirty years dedicated to not communicating. since crystal joined their team, and since niko's death, she has been there to remind them to talk things out. almost losing each other over and over again, the boys slowly realize their friendship is more than just platonic. the two especially have an epiphany thanks to their wise psychic friend (and a little mischievous personification of desire).

To her credit, she doesn’t bite. “Yeah, Edwin. Actually I am. There are a few experts here in London who can do some powerful warding magic. Why are we worried about this?”
Charles decides to take over. Even though Edwin and Crystal are starting to evolve in their friendship, his best friend can still be very territorial about cases.
”So, Kian’s professor here was always a real good guy, but the Inn he owns is warded against literally everything, and they’re worried about him, right mate?”
”Yeah, you got it. I have unfinished business he can help with, but only if he’s safe. Dr. G really helped me when I came out as non-binary. He’s an ally. And well, I just want him to be okay. I mean ordinary people don’t get caught up in this supernatural stuff do they?”
”They do at times, and often it is indeed a problem. I am glad you brought this to us.” Edwin looks to Charles who nods. “The Dead Boy Detectives are glad to take on your case.”
**Charles and Edwin take on a case where they will need to confront a whole new realm of the supernatural in London, while also navigating their feelings for each other. Complete.

Steve almost chokes on his cigarette, hastily moving it from his lips and looking to Eddie where he stands beside him. He looks relaxed, despite the words that just left his mouth. A thin trail of smoke travels up towards the sky from his own cigarette that’s pinched between his fingers. Watching the smoke slowly fade into nothingness feels oddly foreboding. Like this small, almost-friendship he has managed to build is going to fade away, too.
He decides to hold on to it, if he can.

Or, After Vecna is defeated and life returns to normal, Steve finally has a chance to become actual friends with Eddie Munson. But any potential for friendship seems lost when Eddie decides to move to Nashville to pursue music after graduating.
It’s Steve’s idea to become pen pals.
Over summer and into fall and winter, Steve battles insecurities around himself, as well as his own future and his parents’ expectations. As his friendship with Eddie deepens into something greater, Steve finds that there’s more to himself than he expected, and more to his friendship with Eddie than he ever imagined.
