Batman is just trying to put a corrupt businessman back in jail, but he's struggling to find the connection he knows exists between the new synthesized street drug and the businessman in question. His search for answers unveils a lot more than he expected. Like the reluctant psychic they've kept locked away...who knows a lot more than she's telling her keepers.
Original character x Bruce Wayne romance with a complex plot, angst on all sides, tarot cards, and a tendency to roast Batman. Gently. Influenced heavily by BTAS but doesn't rely on familiarity with it.

Even with how cheap Gotham rent is, you still have to pick up a job at a coffee shop in the Upper West Side. Online training never prepared you for the kind of patrons you'd see though, and nothing could have prepared you for the interest of a billionaire family in the locally owned shop you worked in.

Green filled his gaze. What kind of scum kidnapped a defenseless seven-year-old. He took a deep steadying breath and gently put his hands on her shoulders. “Easy, easy. Take a breath. What’s your name? Tell me what happened. Who took your sister?”
Jason took her appearance in. She had a big forming bruise on her cheek and there was a wound on her temple, the blood already dried. Her knuckles were bloody, and Jason was sure that whatever had happened, she had not gone down without a fight.

Tied to a spike, in the middle of the village.
Beaten within an inch of their life, tortured and set on fire by people she’s known her whole life.
Reason?
Simple, she’s a witch.
Evidence?
She is often found in the woods, takes walks at night, tried to save a cat, but most importantly.
She killed her mother while the poor women birthed her.
As she burns, she doesn’t scream. She won’t give them the satisfaction of knowing she’s in pain.
Instead, she mumbles a few words. Barely audible over the flames but those closest to the fire heard the last four words before she died.

Speranza sees Angel Dust as her son to make up for her two daughters who made it into heaven after all of their untimely deaths.

The angel who first fell from Heaven could make any human fall to their knees for him with just how tempting he is...
