Summary
For as long as Tails could remember, it was the two of them against the world. Sonic and Tails, best friends and brothers by bond, if not by blood. There’d never been any doubt in his mind that they were on the same page. Nothing was ever going to come between them. It was a fact, and Tails had more than enough data to back it up.
What he didn’t consider, however, were the conditions they lived in when he’d drawn that first conclusion. When it was just the two of them living on their own, constantly on the move. Of course they were each other’s best friends. They were all they had in the world aside from a few meager camping supplies and Sonic’s plane.
But that wasn’t the case anymore. Stuck in one place, they had more opportunities to spend time with their friends and to make new ones. More than Tails could ever remember having at one time. Turns out learning to adapt to change is a guaranteed constant in life.
Tails wished he’d been given the memo sooner; then maybe he’d have had more time to prepare.
As their friend group expands to include both Cream and Charmy, Tails has to learn to share his big brother's attention with the younger kids. Spoiler alert: he isn't very good at it.

Summary
After running into an unglamoured Macaque, Wukong becomes enamoured instantly only to belatedly realize who he really was and still feel entranced by them. He will struggle with these newfound feeling, trying to figure out if he wants to pursue anything serious with him or if he'll just enjoy the causally flirty banter as it is.

A self-indulgent college au with the journey to the west crew with pre relationship Princess Iron Fan and DBK. Also anyone with a reincarnation will be a mix of their current and past incarnations except Ao Lie now that I know what he's like.

Summary
A sadistic laugh rang loudly, this time it filled with more glee than Macaque thought possible. Reminiscent of a child squealing at a precious gift, only with a much more dark reality.
“Oh, oh, oh! How lovely isn’t this?” Lady Bone Demon sang joyously.
“A surprise, I have to admit. But a welcomed one nonetheless!” She continued.
Macaque felt sick. This was wrong, this was so very wrong. Wukong was immortal, invincible, indestructible. He wasn’t supposed to be able to hurt. To be able to bleed.

Wukong breaks out of LBDs possesion, but all is not well as the newly freed monkey seems more fragile than usual.

“Oh. This was a gift. He remembered getting it. Macaque’s twelve year old self had been begging his parents for a specific tape recorder that didn’t need cassette tapes for years before he finally got it that one Christmas. It was a bit more dirty and roughed up than he remembered but it was definitely the tape recorder from all those years ago.
It would have been reasonable to have this in his things if not for the fact he lost it a month later. Not to mention his parents house was over 300 miles away.”
Macaque is a broke college student with a tendency to lose things and borderline depression
What happens when an old tape recorder from when he was 12 magically appears while he’s unpacking and has WAY more recorded on it than he had before by some guy that talks about being trapped in a place for lost things?Or: Macaque listens to recordings on his old tape recorder that weren’t there before and if he falls a little in love with the voice in the speaker that’s his business

Wukong is one of macaques targets, and after surviving his encounter, he's determined to find macaque. But when he does, he can't bring himself to do anything, and has a small mental breakdown with macaque ends up comforting him in, and afterwards they become friends, and eventual lovers.

The next few pages are of similar manner. Macaque is drawn with big eyes and bigger muscles as MK or his friends beg him for friendship or compliment him so much it’s borderline overboard.
It was cute… but also sad in a way.A somber smile comes to occupy Wukong’s lips. ‘Seems like he was hesitant to share these because they’re mostly filled with stuff we wouldn’t say.’ He thinks to himself, running a paw along the page of Pigsy begging Macaque to show him how to train his body.
The king turns to the next page.
His golden eyes widen; it’s the first drawing of Wukong himself. It’s only a headshot of him, next to another drawing of Macaque’s in the same manner. The two drawn monkeys are looking at each other, smiles happy as a speech bubble goes from Wukong’s mouth.
‘I do love you.’ It reads.
