Literally the fastest burn ever. It's pretty cool and lowkey wattapdesque (its the only thing I can describe this fic as NOT IN A BAD WAY DW) but it's good. The ending is kinda sad though, also there are rituals and supernatural shit so hope ur ok with that also with the exception of Kokichi Shuichi Kaede and Maki most tagged characters are mentioned like once so look out for that. But it's a cool fic so yeah, go read it now

Shuichi Saihara and Kokichi Ouma are roomates at Hopespeak Academy, but surpisingly get along well. Although tiring at first, Shuichi ends up enjoying all his time spent with the boy, realizing it's more than a friendship, which terrifies him for fear of others' views on it. Kokichi on the other hand, has liked the boy ever since they met, but is hiding a lot from him. He doubts Shuichi likes him back, but enjoys flirting anyway. Kokichi falls first, but Shuichi falls harder. Basically, it's if Shuichi and Kokichi were in a slice of life bl rather than a killing game!!! Also oblivious Kaede and a frustrated Rantaro doing his best to flirt with her. Sorry to the Kaito stans, he's a little homophobic here (just at first cuz he doesn't understand).

Sweet: Makoto is thoroughly convinced that Fuhito must be the worst guardian in the world when he finds out that he deprived Kyoko of most candies and desserts during her formative years. With a lack of a grandfather to hold her back anymore, he takes her on an excursion for some sweet stuff.
Work: When Makoto's big heart and work ethic makes him collapse, it's up to Kyoko to take care of him.
Sunset: A sunset is a privilege that Makoto is sure he'll miss in the years that come. At the very least, he wants to take the time to appreciate it with Kyoko one last time.
Rain: Makoto is afraid of the shower. Kyoko is determined to help him through it.
Touch: God, Kyoko really, really hopes that she's pregnant this time.
Date: According to her lover, today is an important day. Kyoko feels like she is absolutely losing it because even with all of her detective skills, the poor woman still cannot figure out why.
Festival: The school festival is coming up and Kyoko is desperate to ask Makoto to be her date. Overhearing her plans, Junko thinks it would be fun to get in her way.

Past - Set in Japan's Kamukura period, Empress Kyoko takes on a new samurai in her army, and realizes she has fallen in love with him... when he is moments away from his death.
Locked Out - Where would Kyoko stay if she hadn't had the skeleton key that night?
Autumn - Makoto makes the best pumpkin bread in the world, but it always seems to go so fast... Kyoko conducts a mystery with this problem to test his detective skills.
First Encounter - After weeks apart following their rescue from the outside world, Makoto and Kyoko, along with the other survivors, reunite for a first breakfast and realize just how much they have missed each other.
Class - Makoto and Kyoko desperately try to hold it together and not cry on their daughter's first day of kindergarten.

Naegiri Week 2018 Prompts:
1) Fluffy: Kyoko and Makoto wake up together the morning after their wedding. Adorable behaviour ensues.
2) Oven: There is a bun in the oven, and Makoto has no clue.
3) Bright: After a night of drinking with some colleagues of Kyoko's, Makoto returns home drunk and strangely emotional. Kyoko is determined to get to the bottom of his actions, even if he is determined not to tell her why he is acting so off.
4) Hallway: During the escape from the Main School Building, even the Headmaster's daughter will not be safe.
5) Distance: It has been six hours since Kyoko left the house she shares with her fiancée, and Makoto is at the point where he is wondering if she will ever come back.
6) Game: After a failed attempt at winning the Pocky game in their youth, Kyoko decides to give Makoto a second chance several years later.
7) Sound: TBD...

Kaito hates Kokichi… but he hates the killing game even more. In the cold, cavernous Exisal hangar, Kaito stares into the poison-fevered eyes of the Ultimate Supreme Leader and makes a decision: the killing game is over. He will not kill Kokichi. He will not drop the press and entomb this child inside the killing game he claims to despise. So, Kaito comes up with a plan to save Kokichi’s life, but to pull it off, the two of them will have to work together inside the Exisal, trick Monokuma into reaching a false verdict, and end the class trial before Kokichi succumbs to the Strike-9 poison.

I love this fic so fucking much. According to other people it's the best chapter 5 rewrite, not to mention it's currently active as well! It's stuck in my head all of the fucking time. oh my god and there are so many scenes I'd talk about but it would spoil the fic!!! So uh moral of the story: GO READ IT ALREADY YOU BASTARD >:))))))))))
