Summary
This series starts with an alternate universe Thor with Jötunn!Loki added to the mix and will, if I manage to write fast enough before everyone becomes bored with Marvel, include the other movies in the MCU phases.
I might also add some deleted scene or POVs that didn't fit in the story. I have already written a few of those.
The series title was inspired by the beautiful poem Be a friend by Edgar Guest, of which the second to last verse goes as follows:

Yinsen swallows audibly, but takes a step closer. Anton wonders if the man is suicidal, or just stupid.
“Is it true?” he asks. “What they said?”
“Truth is just a matter of circumstance,” Anton frowns, wondering why the words had sprung so easily to mind. “But yes.”
Yinsen is quiet for several minutes after that. Then:
“What is your name?”
“Does it matter?” Anton retorts. It matters to him, but care is the same thing as weakness. If you care about something, it can be used against you. Used to control you.
