The man rolled his eyes, as if he didn’t just ask a completely impolite question. “I said, do you have any booze?”
Tommy sat still. He reached into his jacket pocket, his hand finding only a plastic pen. Could he stab this man with a plastic pen?
Tommy pulled said piece of plastic out, visibly holding it up. “I have a pen.” Something about the bemused look on the man's face made Tommy click it, and again, repeatedly.

Summary
A routine mission to deal with a small time group of thieves goes south when Tommy finds himself in the middle of a Syndicate operation. Thieves or not, people were in danger and Tommy was a hero.
Hopelessly outmatched Tommy intervenes, handing an even better prize to the Syndicate on a silver platter. But before the Syndicate’s most sadistic leader can turn his latest catch into another pawn in his game, said sidekick throws himself in harm's way in order to save the villain's life.
The Syndicate always repays its debts, even to heroes. A life for a life. But this victory for Order came at the cost of the Syndicate’s claim on one unaware sidekick. And no one escapes the Syndicate.

Wilbur’s breathing hitched as he looked into the pale eyes of the dead boy. Unlike before, his lips were no longer blue, and there was no more seaweed stuck in his blonde curls. He was sitting up now, the waves soaking the bottom of his pants as he sat on the sand across from Wilbur.
“You-”
“I’m not dead, Wil,” the boy said, the words tumbling out of him in a rush. “I’m not dead, don’t fucking listen to them when they say I’m dead because I’m not. You know I’m not!”
“I-I saw your body,” Wilbur stammered, unsure of how the dead boy knew his name.
“It’s not me! I don’t know what the fuck that thing was, but I’m not dead! You can feel it, can’t you?” The boy pleaded, his voice cracking as he started crawling on the sand towards Wilbur. “You have to save me, Wil. Please, you need to get me out of here!”
or, Wilbur finds a dead body at the beach, and that's only the start of his problems.

Well, he tutors his brother—so obviously there was one person he cared about, and he really only tutored one other kid—
Okay so he was fifty fifty for the whole 'not caring about the people he tutors' thing. His tutees. Whatever.
Point being, he definitely did not care for Ranboo in any sort of familiar way. Especially not when the kid came into their latest session with bags under his eyes, distressed as he looked through his bag to find the notes they were supposed to go over.
Ranboo's parents have been pushing him a little too hard, and Techno's having none of it.

Tommy bit the inside of his cheek. “If you were solely in charge of imprisoning the most dangerous man in the country, what would you do?”
Sam’s smile slid off of his face, and his brows scrunched up in concentration. “That’s a hard one,” he admitted. “I’d probably do everything within my power to make sure he didn’t escape. If he’s the most dangerous.”
“Yeah,” Tommy said hollowly. “I guess you would.”

Summary
When the Heroes Association shut down for good, most heroes had already been on suspension for months. It still felt so sudden. The titan that once ruled over not just Tommy’s entire life, but all of society, was gone.
In hindsight, the fall started even before the Syndicate existed. Maybe even before he was born. But every sign of a failing system felt like more proof it could never be undone. The rampant corruption and misuse of power were all symptoms of a diseased tyrant who died on his deathbed.
Now here they are. No more heroes.

Or, The Syndicate took down the Heroes Association. Tommy's an ex-hero who has no idea what he's supposed to do now, especially without Dream's guidance. Help comes from unexpected people, namely ex-villain and retired leader of The Syndicate, The Angel of Death himself. And his annoying sons.

What takes it is what's on his back.
Upon his back are two small white wings, fluffed in downy feathers that make him look like a baby chick.
Phil holds back a chirp of surprise.
Oh yeah, did I mention the king also has wings?

Philza is the King of the Antarctic Empire and the only Avian around to his knowledge.That is until a couple bring a young child with wings like his own.
