Heavy on Armand/ Daniel later on, but it takes a very long time to get there.
OR: A story about love, lust, lies, and the consequences that follow. A never-ending journey of being at the wrong place, at the wrong time, always too young, and never young enough.

"I heard you the first time, Armand. What are you talking about?" The man spoke rapidly, hard to catch.
"No, no. The Master. He has gone where?" Amadeo tried again, slowing his words down even further now that he knew the older man could hear him. Maybe he was a bit dim.
"There is no master, maître, any of that. You know that." Uncertainty began creeping into the man's voice. He was staring. "Armand, what's going on?"
Amadeo was confused now. Why was this stranger calling him Armand? That wasn't his name, and he was pretty sure he would have remembered if his Master had given him another for guests.
"Amadeo," he began, staring back at the man. "Amadeo, is my name."

Asking the age old question: What would happen if Armand found out Marius was alive?
In this instance, Daniel wakes up one morning to find Armand with no memories of his life for the past 500 years, insisting that he is Amadeo.

Different from who he is standing in a parking garage having a panic attack in the middle of a cold November afternoon. "Am I… am I my history? Am I always to be the… the frightened boy being pressed into bed, after bed, after bed? Who am I, Daniel?"
Daniel looks about as lost as he feels. "I don't know," he says and the answer almost sends Armand over the literal edge but Daniel continues. "But we can talk about it, Armand. We've got… eternity to figure that out."

Louis wanted for Armand to face the consequences of his actions, wanted for him to hurt, for him to drown in his resentment... but, more than anything else, Louis wanted to find him, to bring him back home, to replace the sorrow with their love.
And Louis does find him, after all. The problem is: Armand doesn't remember about their relationship at all, and oh! he also really wants to hurt Louis.
Or, rather, it's the man maneuvering Armand who wants him to hurt.// the tag Armand/Marius is only to inform the reader of the disturbing presence of this dynamic. It is a relationship based on trauma, manipulation and memory alteration and won't absolutely be endgame or portrayed as healthy.
