The sun emerges on the horizon, and its rays drive away the monsters. They had only needed to endure the onslaught a few minutes longer. Tío Charlie hovers over them, distressed as he presses his hands, wrapped in his belt sash, on their back to staunch the bleeding.
They can't resist the pull into darkness, into the comforting embrace of sleep. It was cold and frightening, and they couldn't see anything, feeling as though they were drowning. They struggle, choking on the absence of air and trying to do anything.
A pair of arms envelop Tilín, rescuing them from the abyss. They're pulled into the open air, gasping for breath and coughing. Tilín turns to thank Lady Death, but their words catch in their throat. It's Tío Charlie who holds them now.
"Hello, dragon from...” He hesitates. “From Not-Here,”
(Tilin is killed at the hands of Tio Charlie, so when they open their eyes, why is he smiling like that. Why don't they recognise anything? Why don't the people who look like their old Tios seem to recognise them? Why is papa warning them of a masked man?)

Summary
Dream had been taken out of the prison and forced to work at Las Nevadas, running a lucrative game of Russian Roulette for guests, under strict supervision from both Sam and Quackity.
To celebrate the opening of a new wing to the casino, Q booked out the hotel for a dinner party with his main crew.
Dream watches from an unsafe distance as the Las Nevadas gang poorly hashes out their problems, resulting in one of them getting mysteriously killed. Dream may not care for them, but he doesn't like being blamed for something he didn't do, and takes it upon himself to find the murderer before he finds himself back in Pandora's Vault.
