Summary
[Time passes oddly. Between one second and the next, Sokka has the Fire Lord pinned to the wall with his hands around the bastard’s throat. Golden eyes (one gold eye, his mind whispers) widen in shock.
“Sokka?” he chokes out. And then he smiles.
What the fuck?
“Sokka, I—”
Sokka slams his head against the wall, once, twice, and the smile wipes off his face. Good.
“What,” Sokka bites out, “have you done to my sister?”]
Or:
An injury leaves Sokka with amnesia. His last memory is of the failed invasion, of leaving his father behind in enemy territory on the Day of Black Sun. Of hopelessness. Rage.
But then he wakes up, and the war is over. Suddenly, he must come to terms with the fact that years have passed, and that he's somehow the Southern Water Tribe Ambassador to the Fire Nation. He is also supposedly friends with banished-Prince-turned-Fire-Lord Zuko, of all people. Close friends.

Summary
As more soulbounds lose lives a rumour of a respawn related glitch spreads quickly, thanks in no small part to Impulse and Bdubs' gossiping. Some doubt the truth behind their words but soon enough everyone sees and experiences the effects of said glitch.
Across the server soulmates must adjust to drastic changes to their biology. Some embracing the change, others taking it as a chance to connect to their soulmate on a whole new level. However some don't quite get to grips with the new way they must interact with the world.
aka Double Life species swap brainrot. I'm mainly oneshoting the pairings for now but let's see where this goes. Hope you have a good time here :)

To Geralt’s credit, he waits until they’re well away from Kaer Morhen to ask the question. He also waits until Yennefer and Ciri have gone to bed, which makes the whole thing feel a bit too calculated for Jaskier’s liking, which is to say that he doesn’t like it at all .
“Where’s your lute, Jaskier?”
Jaskier doesn’t quite flinch, though his heart does something of the sort all on its own. It is very much a wound that hasn’t healed; as is most of him, these days.

Scar studies him. Glances at the feathers curtaining his view of the throne room's entrance, then slides his gaze back to Grian's dancing eyes. Fighting a losing battle is difficult enough; fighting one you've lost before it's even begun is impossible. "Yeah, alright," he says, resigned to the tendrils of fondness cinching thorny vines around his heart. "Let's hear it."
Another flash of teeth, dyed red in the light spilling through Grian's feathers. "The 'Not A Resistance' Resistance," he says, low and teasing, "would like to cordially invite you to kiss me stupid." He lets that simmer in the shred of air between them before tacking on, measured and thoughtful: "This is a time-sensitive invitation, by the way, so you should figure out your answer in the next ten to fifteen seconds."

“Oh!” Aziraphale startles. “Well—such a question. It’s not as though either of us has engaged in so much as fisticuffs in ages, and one does need to keep up practice with these sorts of things.” His fretting dies abruptly when Crowley cuts over him clearly, baldly: “Aziraphale.”
Aziraphale’s mouth clicks shut, and he goes so still that the group is forcibly reminded that ethereal beings don’t technically need to breathe, have a heartbeat, or even metabolize energy to exist. Beside him, Crowley’s stiffened up and his lips pull back from his teeth in a toe-curling wince.

So it was fine. Even if Crowley couldn’t love him, he clearly liked him well enough, and that was almost the same thing.
It no doubt would have continued to be fine, or at least fine-adjacent, were it not for a narrowly averted apocalypse and several bottles of a really quite nice Riesling Aziraphale had found in the back room of his newly restored bookshop.

The entire time there’s been a barely-there itch buzzing away in the back of his head that hums wrong, danger, bad, disrespect.
Now, it’s been literal years since Phil has had an unidentified wolf on his pack land. His pack - although small - has always had a rock-solid claim on their land. Wolves who want to pass by come to offer him the proper respect, just like he does when he wants to pass through their land.
Trespassing wolves don’t happen, for everybody’s safety.

Summary
In which Mumbo crosses several towns, learns some creative methods of self-defense, fights some monsters, sees things no human is meant to have seen, befriends a stranger, steals multiple cars, has inconvenient moral scruples, grows increasingly terrified of his own culpability in the apocalypse, grows a spine, blows up at least one building, accidentally prevents a murder, and attempts to find his best friend in the futile but ever-burning hope the man’s still alive.
He has to say, he’s so exhausted and terrified that he thinks he might just be mad?
(OR: the one where, after most of humanity turns into a series of terrifying monsters, Mumbo decides he’s going to risk his life on an apocalypse road trip to try to find out if Grian is alive. Things, as you might imagine, devolve from there.)
