Summary
Aziraphale Fell has been working at Heaven's Gate for the better part of twenty years as an assessor of orphanages for children with magical abilities. His life in London is fine, mostly. He has a house, and a cat, and that should be enough.
When he receives a strange assignment that has him bound for a month-long stay on a remote Scottish island, however, he begins to realise that everything may not be as it seems.
(Note: this is an AU set in the world of TJ Klune's The House in the Cerulean Sea, and while I recommend that you read it, it's not necessary to do so to understand the plot of this fic!)

Summary
Crowley arrives at the Johnson Space Center, where he will train for a year to prepare for six months aboard the International Space Station. He is excited. Ready to reach the nebulas. Even though his past military trauma overshadows everything he does. Chaplain Aziraphale, hired three years ago for the brand-new NASA chaplaincy program, finds caring for the astronauts to be a breath of fresh air. Especially since NASA is the latest of a long line of failed parishes in a career directed by his brother, Gabriel.
Their paths collide when Crowley, after suffering a panic attack in a simulation, stumbles into the orbit of Chaplain Aziraphale. Crowley finds unexpected solace and acceptance in their relationship, and Aziraphale begins to believe he can be more than the subservient chaplain his family expects. It remains to be seen whether they can truly find their way together through the stars.

Astronaut Crowley meets NASA Chaplain Aziraphale. Sparks fly, but they both need to work on themselves before they are ready for a healthy relationship.
Mind the tags I added on this one. This is the slowest of slow burns and the most eventual of smut. For much of the fic Aziracrow’s are physically separated and the courtship progresses by letter. This fic is not for the impatient.
But it is so worth it 🥹👏🏻 The mutual pining, the brief touches savored in memory, the ache and longing—I could read that forever. And Aziracrow here are always growing, always making progress, on themselves and regards to their emotional connection to each other, so it never drags. The pacing feels very natural.
Plus there is the fascinating NASA connection. The author did a lot of research on the astronaut program and the ISS and it comes through beautifully in the writing. I’ve certainly never seen an Aziracrow fic set in that world, which is why this fic is in my Unusual Setting (Good Omens) collection.
Even just the way life in Zero G is depicted is so accurate and intellectually interesting. Like how if you enter the room and the astronauts within have chosen a different direction as “down” than your current one, the polite thing to do is join them in that orientation. Since really any “down” with do and majority rules. I love it!
Crowley also has his own moment of The Overview Effect in the fic, which is the shift in emotional perspective that happens to many astronauts when they view the entire planet from space. The idea that everyone who has ever lived, every worry they ever had, every ambition they ever pursued, happened on this one tiny rock in space flying through the vastness of the universe.
It can make our petty squabbles, even our huge philosophical debates, seem small and insignificant. Like we’re all focusing on the wrong level of reality.

Summary
After a bizarre confrontation with Hastur and one really bad cup of tea, Crowley finds himself in an alternate universe wherein he's back to being the archangel Raphael, there's no Arrangement, and Aziraphale is actively trying to discorporate him.
The worst part?
Every time Aziraphale succeeds in offing him, and "Raphael" is returned to earth with a new body, the day resets. It's always the same doomed Wednesday, over and over and over again.
Getting into this time-loop was an accident; getting out and back home again (if Crowley ever manages it) will have to be something entirely else.

Aziraphale and Crowley have to change their planned evening out with Anathema when stress takes its toll on Aziraphale.
Yes, more Aziraphale whump… but at least it’s in the whumping month. Hope you enjoy it and all the cosy Crowley (and Anathema) caretaking that ensues 😊. References to the board game The Witches, but you don’t need to have played it to follow (although you might get slightly more of the references if you have).
It’s probably only one chapter long, although I guess I’ve set it up as a sort of chronic illness thing, so I might change my mind and add more.
