Summary
After the horrorterrors emerged from the ocean 4 centuries ago, the kings and queens of the lands fear for their lives as the enemy infiltrates their territories. The Prince of Breath sends a letter to the closest knight and asks for help in taking care of his friend in visit, the Prince of Time. Karkat responds to the letter, and begins a journey to the Kingdom of Breath where he needs to face the challenge of taking care of the difficult Prince.
John is invited to his sister's kingdom in order to prepare for his birthday and his coronation as the next King of Breath.
Karkat is forced to spend more time with Dave, and while the Prince likes to cause troubles, Karkat finds himself enjoying his company. His feelings soon develop into something more, and he needs to decide whether to ignore them, or embrace them in this way accepting the possibility of getting punished for it.-

Summary
There is a place, that not many know about. Tucked away, hidden from simple eyes. A troll fight club, The Scratch. Humans from all walks of life, train their pet trolls to fight, to win. Every friday there are fights, bets, and deaths.
The overseer of this illegal activity? Doc Scratch. No one has ever seen him in person but everyone knows his name.
Dave Strider has never had the easy life. Living in the shadow of his famously ironic Bro has its downfalls. So when he find out about troll fights, he decides it won’t hurt to try. He goes to his younger brother, Dirk, for help getting a fighting troll. He never expected for this to get as big as it had.

Your eyes meet, and you are both frozen. His eyes look so white, void of any colour, and his brows are thick and black. His mouth hangs open as he nearly chokes for air, and you can catch a glimpse of a row of sharpened teeth. You gape at the sight. You've never seen a troll before, and you had hoped you never would. A few of the older people at camp talked about them, and your father used to tell you stories when you were a child about the viscous grey creatures that brought an end to global civilization in your great, great grandparents time, and would hunt and kill any human they would catch outside the safety of their camp.
You stare at the troll before you, and can't find your breath. He isn't moving either, he just looks at you with big, wide eyes.
2021 UPDATE: going to do a rewrite, then probs delete this because it went down a route im lowkey uncomfortable with nowadays (but i do still enjoy the premise so...)
