What was a young girl like her doing here? She couldn't have been past her teens, he thought. She was skinny, wearing a ratty lab coat that clearly was one too big a size on her, traces of soot and dust littered onto various sections of the worn fabric. Her face bore a pair of heavy eyebags below pale green irises not unlike Luca's own, with a lick of blue ink smeared across her cheek. Her nose was scrunched in confusion, brows pinched together with skepticism while she thoroughly examined the blueprints and diagrams sprawled out on the table before her.

The man standing by the corner of the small room seemed to be checking something on a tablet. If there was really something important there or he was just giving Conrad and his dad the illusion of privacy, Conrad couldn't tell. He just noticed the stethoscope, the white coat and a henna tattoo around the man’s neck.
“You didn't have to run.” Marshall was speaking without breaking eye contact with him. “Nic was kind enough to ask for a… nurse to check me.”
He heard the man next to them sigh loudly. He was clearly a doctor, not a nurse, but Conrad knew well why his father was speaking like that.
He was a sub.

Everything had been planned to the tee. Sonic and Boom would release the virus, Delphi would be shut down, and Pharma, First Aid and Ambulon would be safely shipped away to a new outpost, far away from the dangerous clutches of the DJD.
Except Pharma hadn't planned for a surprise visit from the Autobot CMO, or to be found out as quickly as he was. Now, as he stands there, surrounded and without escape, he's resigned to his fate of prison, death, or both. Instead, he's extended grace from a bot he's never met, and given the opportunity to right his wrongs.
Or: A Universe where the Lostlight got to Delphi before everything went to further shit, Pharma, Ambulon and First Aid got rescued, all three became a part of the medical staff on board, Pharma gets the support he needs, and also the warm ending he deserves.
